Kenny POV:

Walking through the halls of school, going to find my boyfriend, Butters Stotch, so we could go to his house. His parents are never home so I'm always over there

I turn a corner, to see Butters, leaning against his locker, crying?!

Oh fuck. There's Cartman. Great...

"Listen Butters, Kinny is a fucking player. Once he ditches you for some chick with fat boobs, don't come crying to me!"

Then he shoves Butters onto the ground just as I run over

"HEY! What the fuck, fatass!?"

Cartman looks up at me before speeding away. Well as fast as he could lug himself, which isn't really that fast

"Baby, you okay?"

I get down, sitting on my knees next to Butters

He sits up, immediately throwing himself onto me, crying into my chest

"Shh~ it's okay baby, I got you"

That asshole. I can't stand it when people do this to Butters.

"K-Kenny, I can't take it"

"I know Buttercup. I'm sorry I did this to you"

"It's n-not your fault"

"It is my fault. My reputation stays with me forever. Everyone assumes I can't stick with one person"

"I don't assume that. "

"I know you don't, but it hurts me to see the way people treat you"

"They all say I should just leave you. But I don't wanna"

"You don't have to. I promised you I would never leave you"

"Can we go to my house and just be together?"

"Of course we can, Buttercup"

At Butters' house

Now, we're sitting in his bed, Butters is sitting in my lap, still burying his face in my chest as my arms are wrapped around him, protectively

"Kenny. Why do people not like us being together? Why do they carry on things from the past?"

"Because people are assholes, babe. We don't need them though. As long as we have each other, we'll be okay. "

He smiles, leaving a quick kiss on my lips

"Thanks for being the only one who cares about me, Kenny"

"No, thank you for being the only one I care about. Well obviously except Karen, but you know what I meant"

"Yeah, I know what you mean"

"I love you. Don't let anyone tell you different. They don't know anything about our relationship"

"I never listened to them. I'll always love you"

"I'm glad you love me"

"I'm sorry for asking Ken, but will you ever leave me?"

"Buttercup, I promise I'll never leave you. Your the best thing that's ever happened to me"

"You promise promise? "

"I promise promise"

He snuggles up closer to me, so I rest my head on top of his

"You make my life so much better, Kenny"

"I can say the same. We were meant to be together, I don't give a fuck what anyone else says. I've never believed in soulmates, but when I developed feelings for you, I started to believe it all"

"I can't say it enough. I love you so much, Ken"

"I love you too Buttercup"

"Can we go to sleep, and skip school tomorrow? I just wanna ignore everyone"

"We can skip. We'll just stay here, protected from the outside world"

"You'll protect me? "

"I'll always protect you, my love"

I kiss the top of his head, then slide down so I'm laying on my back, and he's on top of me, resting his head on my chest

"Go to sleep, Buttercup. We don't have to do anything tomorrow, just lay here with each other"

"I'd like that. Goodnight Kenny"

"Goodnight Buttercup"
