Every night when the whole world is asleep, Selena goes down from the moon to her favorite spring to bathe.
But that night, she wasn't expecting to find a mortal there.
"Huh? What is he doing here?" She asked herself as she looked at the person lying on one of the rocks there. "Who are you? Are you asleep?"
Selena didn't receive any response, which is why she decided to come closer to get a glimpse of the man lying on the rock.
"He is wounded!" Selena exclaimed upon seeing the blood all over the man's body. "Is he still alive?" She checked if the man was still breathing.
Selena caressed the man's neck to feel his pulse to see whether he was still alive and noticed an odd sensation. Her heart abruptly skips a beat, and she feels like she was hit in the chest.
"What is this I'm feeling right now?" Selena uttered. But decided to just shrug it off.
The man needs help. He was badly wounded and has a very weak pulse.
The man's scratches, cuts, and wounds began to fade as a light emanated from Selena's palm, which she had placed in front of him.
She was astounded when she took a good look at his face, now that I could clearly see how he appeared.
Selena gasped in shock. "No, this is not true." She shook her head as she stepped back.
She couldn't believe what she was seeing right now. "This is not happening. I'm just dreaming, and I have to wake up from this."
