Chapter 5

Elf kingdom

Korvald had stayed guard all night in front of the healing tent making sure no one would go near his student, in the morning he walked in to check on her. Lily had fallen asleep in the chair next to the bed Lunacrest had been sleeping on, she young mage was now awake and trying to sit up on her own carefully. Korvald sighed softly, shaking his head as he walked over and helped her.
"You should be resting, kid." He said softly
"I can't sleep." Lunacrest said softly looking down at the ground.
He kept down in front of her and left her chin gently so she could look at him.

"Hey listen to me, I'm not going to let anything happen to you ok?"
"But..... What if I can't do it? What if I can't rule or even..."
He grabbed her arms firmly but also carefully making her stop and take a deep breath.
"I will teach you everything you need to know, "I  asked the other kingdoms to a meeting. It's time we take back your parents' kingdom."
He stood up and smiled as he looked down at her, he held his hands out to her and helped her up onto her feet.

"I want you there as well, to sit in and learn."
She stumbled slightly as she stood up but with his help she was able too.
"Really?"
"Yes, but nothing more. No training or magic until your fully healed am I clear."
"Crystal clear." She said softly
Korvald chuckled softly as he helped her walk around a bit, Lunacrest was doing fine and seemed to be recovering rather quickly, the flap to the tent open and someone walked in with a black cloak on and over their face hiding it from view.
Korvald looked over and let out a deep growl as he got in front of Lunacrest.
"What do you want, vampire!" He demanded
Celeste put her hands up showing that she was unarmed, she showed no sighs of wanting to attack.

"I'm not going to hurt anyone, I want to help." She said
"Why would you want to help?!"
"Because I'm the one who saved her all those years ago!"
She pulled her hood off her long white hair was pulled back and held with a pin, her blood red eyes staring him down. She looked a lot like her father.

"You! You're his daughter!"
He grabbed her by the throat and lifted her into the air, Lily had woken up at this point from the noise.
"Korvald stop!" Lunacrest said
He looked at her with rage in his eyes, she was holding into Lily now as she looked at him.
"You can't blame her for her father did, and if she's telling the truth then I probably wouldn't be alive right now if it wasn't for her."
He sighed and let Celeste go, she fell to the floor and gasped for air.
"Fine, but make one mistake vampire and I'll rip your heart out myself understand!"

Celeste nodded as she coughed, the red marks on her neck slowly faded away. Korvald looked at the three girls before storming out of the tent, Lily helped Lunacrest to sit down again before helping Celeste up.
"I'm sorry about him, he's...... protective." Lunacrest said
"It's alright, I understand why."
Lunacrest smiled softly and nodded, she motioned for them to sit down so they could all talk.

Vampire kingdom

Travis let out a sigh as she walked threw the halls to the throne room, he hasn't been here since Celeste was a newborn but he needed help to keep her safe and the only person who could help is her mother. He stood at the wooden black and red door before pushing it open, Queen Irina sat on the throne, her black hair loose around her face as her blue eyes looked at her old lover with anger.
"Why are you here Travis?" She demanded

"I need your help....."
Irina's magic wrapped around him tightly as she pulled him close, a growl come from the back of her throat filled with power.
"Why should I help you! Why should I help you after you took our daughter and ran away!"
"I had no choice, your parents forced me to. I refused to let them take our child."
"Bullshit Travis! I shou....."

"Every second we keep arguing the more danger she is in Irina! Celeste is out there and king Jax has threatened her life!"
Irina grabbed his throat her sharp nails digging into his skin till he started too bleed.
"You lost our daughter?!" She growled.
"I..I'll find her and bring her back to you." He gasped
She let go of Travis making him fall to the ground, he gasped for air.
