He glares down at the man, before speaking, his voice severe."You are suspended without pay for a minimum of two weeks." He looks up at the crowd. "Someone take him to his dorm and make sure he stays there. I have other matters to attend to." He swiftly turns, his lab coat flaring out behind him as he leaves to catch up to his wife and assistant, silently impressed at her fury and what it wrought

"Not bad Ms.Y/n… Not bad at all…"

Julie and y/n had just barely made it to the hallway when, as the door clicked closed, y/n stumbled slightly with a grunt of pain.

Julie's eyes widen as she catches y/n, causing her to groan. "Crap, your burns! They're worse than we can see aren't they?" She says, worry starting to show in her voice.

Y/n's breath catches as she forces herself to stand up, clutching the wall for support as she suppressed a groan of pain. "Don't worry, I'm fine" she tried to wave a doubtful Julie off, continuing to try and hide her stumble as she walked in the general direction she knew the infirmary was in on her own, before yelping as she is lifted off her feet by someone taller than her.

"It will go much faster if you are not the one walking" Wally said matter-of-factly, picking y/n up and moving at a faster pace to keep up with his wife, who was now moving at a much faster pace, a look of worry on her face as she eyes the angry red patches on y/n's skin.

Y/n suppressed another groan, trying to cover it with a laugh as she said, "what happened to not trusting new people?" Making him roll his eyes as Julie laughs, rushing to stay ahead of the pair of them, opening doors to get there faster.

"You have proved yourself more trustworthy in less than 12 hours than more than half of this factory has in several years" he said in a monotone voice, "i'd say that's quite the accomplishment Ms.Y/n."

As they talked, and Y/n tried to get Wally to put her down- insisting that she could walk herself- they finally made it all the way to the infirmary, where the resident nurse, Poppy was waiting for them.

"Well well well! If it isn't the newest member of our faculty! Quite the firecracker I hear!" Poppy chuckled fondly, "I'm honestly surprised to see you here so soon! Not even a full day and your in my part if the factory!" Her tone turned to gently chastisement, making y/n grins sheepishly as Wally and Julie snickered.

"In my defense I didn't start it ma'am" y/n said, trying to explain herself.

"You should've seen it, Pop! She beat the crap out of Jeremy even with her burns!" Julie said, laughter tingeing her voice, making Wally chuckle as y/n grins, an almost smug look on her face, showing that she was quite proud of herself.

Poppy sighed, exasperated. "I'm sure she did, however I need to tend to her burns as well as her hand, you may stay for her hand bu-"

"How bad is her hand?" Wally interrupted, not hiding the concern in his voice as well this time, matching his wife.

Y/n tries to play it off, "it's not as bad as it looks Sir-" before yelping as Poppy grabs her hand unexpectedly. When she holds y/n's hand up, wally's eyes narrow at Y/n and Julie winces. "It doesn't feel broken at least…" y/n grumbles, her voice laced with pain. Her hand was bleeding, her knuckles all split and busted, a lovely purple bruise forming across the back of her hand.

Wally looked impressed, "that's not as much damage as I was expecting- not to say it's not bad!" He added hastily as Poppy threw him a dirty look. "She had good form is all I'm saying. She managed to not break her hand, too badly at least.'' he said, seemingly analyzing the beat down in his head
"I do believe you got lucky however, that Jeremy doesn't seem to be able to deadlift- what, 120lbs? Maybe? Especially not lying on his back with the weight on his chest…"
