Leora woke up with a gasp, sitting up quickly. "Easy. It's alright. You're okay." Liam reassured her. She looked around, furrowing her eyebrows as she realized she's at the vet clinic.

"What happened?" She muttered, rubbing her head with a wince. She felt a dull ache in her head, a lingering reminder of the strain her powers had put on her.

"You passed out. Don't worry. You're safe." Liam reassured her. He glanced at her with concern, his brow furrowed slightly.

"What did I miss?" Leora asked, trying to piece together the events that led her here.

"Parrish went after Sebastien Valet," Liam replies, watching her closely for any signs of discomfort or pain. "It turns out he's the Beast of Gevaudan."

Leora's eyes widen. The revelation hit Leora like a wave crashing over her. Sebastien Valet, the infamous Beast of Gevaudan, was a name that echoed through centuries of supernatural lore. Her mind raced, trying to reconcile this ancient terror with the present-day crisis Parrish had faced. "He's the Beast?" Leora's voice quivered slightly, disbelief mingling with the remnants of her headache. She remembered some stuff about that after Lydia had told the group about it. She was surprised and confused at how he was still alive.

"Yeah, he is." Liam sighed.

"Wow, I missed a lot when I was passed out." Leora remarked, her voice tinged with both surprise and frustration. She paused, taking a moment to collect her thoughts. The implications of Sebastien Valet being the legendary Beast of Gevaudan were staggering. She had heard the stories from Lydia, about the terror the Beast had brought centuries ago. Now, to learn that it wasn't just a historical tale but a living, breathing threat in their midst, unsettled her deeply.

"How are you feeling?" Liam questioned suddenly, his question catching her off guard.

"Still tired and weak. My healing powers take a lot out of me when I use them a lot, especially if I don't have enough time in between to rest. It makes sense because they're so powerful. I'm gonna be fine though." Leora answered honestly, giving him a small smile.

Liam nods, seeming satisfied with her answer. "Good...Just try not to use your powers today, okay? You need to rest." his expression serious as he emphasized the importance of her recovery.

"But what if-" Leora starts worriedly, sighing after seeing the look Liam sent her. "Fine." She mumbles. "Why are we at the vet clinic?" She asked, glancing around the room.

"I'll show you." Liam gets up, gesturing for her to follow him. Leora gets up, stumbling a little bit and Liam caught her. "You sure you're okay?" He asked worriedly.

"You're caring about me now, Li?" She teased lightly, a playful glint in her eyes despite feeling weak. Liam chuckled softly, his concern evident as he steadied her.

"Only when you're collapsing on me, Leo." Liam quipped with a smirk, his hand still supporting her as they moved through the clinic. He led her to the back room where Scott and Stiles with Deaton and the Dread Doctor surgeon they brought. Leora's eyes widened at seeing the Dread Doctor. She didn't expect to see him there.

"Hey, Leo." Stiles greeted with a small smile.

"Only I can call her that." Liam glared at him.

"Sorry, Li." Stiles raised his hands in defense.

"Stiles, only I can call him that!" Leora rolled her eyes.

"Yeah, get with the program, Stiles." Liam scoffed.

"I don't get it." Stiles throws his arms up out of frustration. "You two call each other by nicknames and sometimes you act like you're friends yet just seconds later you act like you wanna kill each other." He glances at Scott. "Scott, do you understand them?"
