"Beep Beep Beep Be- TURN IT OFF RIYAN!!", screamed Noah. It was his first year back to college after he woke up from his coma. But he really didn't want to go. "Wake up Noah, you can't be late on your first day" Riyan said as he finished tying his tie. "You know I can't leave you alone during the day, that's why you have to go to school. I can't imagine if something were to happen to you and there would be no one around to help." Noah annoyingly launched off the off-white, Queen-Sized mattress. He ran off into the bathroom to replenish himself. 10 minutes later Noah came out looking like a dove. *growl*..."I should go eat..." Noah mumbles. Noah stumps down the stairs, ever since he woke up from his coma his right ankle had been hurting, a lot. Noah couldn't even walk correctly for the first two weeks of his awakening. However, his recovery program slowly helped him progress his physical health. He still has a limp though, and Riyan hasn't given proper treatment to it yet. It almost seems like Riyan wants Noah to keep this flaw. Noah hasn't given much thought to it, but he does give thought to his family. Where did his family go? Why was Riyan the only one there when he woke up? How did he get into my coma? Why can't he remember anything? Before Noah can dig deep he reaches the last step of the narrow staircase. He slips into his slippers and walks toward the kitchen. "What's up with the frown on your face?" Riyan invades. "This frown is because of your dumb idea." Noah smacks back. Before Riyans temper rises, the bread pops out of the toaster. "I made PB&J, you want some?" Noah loves PB&Js, it never fails to put him in a good mood. But not today, today is not the day for a classic Riyan styled PB&J sandwich. Today is the day for gloomy and lumpy oatmeal. Noah only eats based on his mood. He can't handle a good meal when his mood is not-so good, and vice-versa. "No, I'll stick to my oatmeal" Noah glumly spoke while walking towards the pantry. "Also, shouldn't you be at work already?". Riyan worked a normal office job, the average salary was about $38,683. But for some skeptical reason, they lived in "The Islands". "The Islands" was the richest city in the state of Louisiana. All the homes came pre-furnished, colored shingles danced the roofs, marble flooring and golden mirrors painted the interior, it was a 3 story dream house. How did Riyan afford all this luxury. On top of the extraordinary house, Noah was supplied with lavish items. Name brand clothing was the only thing he ever wore, a cleaning service came 6 times a month, he never had to lift a finger! And craziest of all, Riyan owned a Rolls Royce, a Jeep, and a Porsche. No casual office worker owned as many luxurious materialistic things as Riyan did. Noah was baffled, confused, and suspicious. Who really was Riyan...Before Noah could think any further, Riyan broke the silence. "I'm heading out right now, the driver will drop you off and pick you up. Don't make any plans for the evening." And the large door was slammed shut, leaving a clueless boy all alone.
