Here where I live everyone knows who I am. No, not in a good way but in a bad way. They know not to cross paths with me or something bad happens to them. I'm a criminal in their eyes, someone dangerous. I hate my title but it's something I'll have to live with for the rest of my life. I deal/do drugs, I get into fights, and I just cause trouble. I never used to be like this, I used to be 'good'. But the day I turned twelve is when my parents started beating me. Just because I'm different, I'm intersex so I'm a girl with a penis.

I kept up so much anger in me that I've stayed like this. I moved away at fourteen years old with the next door neighbor. My parents didn't even notice. He got me into drugs, telling me they take the pain away. Soon, I started selling them. Then I started fights at school, or with the cops. Sometimes I even had sex just because it takes the stress off. I'm trouble. I've been told having one night stands hurts the other person but I've learned not to care about anyone else's feelings. Only care about mine.

"Ah, Ms. Y/l/n glad you could join us" Mr. Joseph said as I walked into class, late.

"Yup" I answered as I walked to the back of the class.

Usually no one sits in the back with me, I keep the back rows to myself but this time was different. This gorgeous dark skinned girl with pretty brown eyes looked up at me as I sat next to her.

"I-I warned you Normani..." The guy two rows in front said nervously.

Ah, Normani. I see she was warned not to sit by me. Of course.

"You're in the danger zone, babe" I smirked as I put my feet over the tables.

"You think you're tough shit?" That Normani chick asked me.

"Trust me, I'm the definition of tough shit" I said slouching back.

This Normani girl wasn't afraid of me like the rest of this place is. Interesting. She's feisty too, I like it. I would defiantly fuck her.

"Y/l/n!" Mr. Joseph called out my name, I looked at him. "Sit correctly in your seat!"

"Nah, I'm good"

"I would send you up to the office but you need the class time so this is your only warning, sit right" He said.

"I think you should listen to him, I'm trying to take notes here but you're obviously slowing us down" Normani said to me.

"No one asked for your opinion" I said back, she rolled her eyes at me.

"Damn Normani I can't believe you have the guts to talk to her" A guy said making me frown.

"Hey buddy, fuck off!" I told him. He nodded nervously turning back around.

I give credits to this girl, first person to ever talk to me first. Something about her intrigues me but I know it's just some stupid feeling. Not that I'm falling for her, it's just that she seems different. Class ended thirty minutes later and I was the last one out of the class. I went to my locker to get my water bottle then I went into the library. I was going to steal a book. The lights were barley on inside, pretty creepy. I went through the aisles scanning books until I found one that caught my attention. 'How To Kill a MockingBird'. I may not look like a reader but I actually enjoy reading. I quickly stuffed the book in my pants and fixed it around so it wouldn't be noticeable.

"What are you doing?" I heard a familiar voice, it was Normani.

"Are you following me?" I asked, still with a hand down my pants.

"Yeah, no. It's study hall period and I'm in here" She said.

"Oh...me too" I said taking my hand out of my pants. "I wasn't doing what it looks like..."

"You were fixing the book in your pants" Normani said.

"How do you know?" I asked, looking down then realizing you could see the shape of the book. "Oh"

Now the lights were fully on and some students walked in, sitting in their spots. Normani left me alone and went to go sit with a guy. I sat pretty far from them as I looked at them. I don't know why but I just wanted to punch him in the face. She kept smiling and giggling at whatever he was saying to her while I pretended to be reading a stupid magazine. Then some of her friends sat with them with their boyfriends except two of them were lesbians. I think the people call them Camren? Yeah, that's it. From what I've been hearing around me she's been dating that guy since freshman year. I guess they were the second power couple besides Camren.

After school my counselor called me up wanting to talk to me as always. I never do, so she basically wastes an hour of my time.

When I left her office I walked out to the student parking lot. I saw someone still here, sitting alone. The closer I got I realized it was Normani. Without her noticing I sneaked away, I'm not nice, I'm not nice, I'm not...I rolled my eyes as I turned back.

"What are you still doing here?" I asked her.

She jumped, "Oh crap Y/n!"

"S-Sorry" I scratched the back of my neck.

"It's okay, my boyfriend couldn't give me a ride home because he was taking his friends out and my parents are working so they can't come get me" Normani sighed.

"Wow, he's a good boyfriend" I rolled my eyes. "Come on, I'll take you home" I insisted.

"Why are you being so nice tough shit?" Normani asked as she followed me to my car.

"Shut it before I leave you here" I said getting into my car.

I pulled up into the driveway of a big two story house. She lives in a nice neighborhood. I helped her carry her books inside, damn it was like walking into a palace.

"Thanks Y/n, I really appreciated it" Normani thanked me as I sat her books on the counter.

"No problem" I said. "Well I better get going..."

I looked at my phone and I had so many unread messages from Sam, my neighbor the one who basically raised me aka a big drug lord. All the messages basically said he needed me home asap.

"I'll see you tomorrow?" Normani questioned.

"Maybe..."

I left her house and quickly got into my car. She waved to me goodbye and in return I did the same. I pulled out of her driveway, then speeding back home. I know I'm going to go through hell for not responding to his messages. Probably get a beating too. I remember before Sam used to treat me nice, but throughout the years he's changed and he makes me feel like shit, just like my parents did. He's told me before if I ever run away he'd kill me.

"Where the fuck were you?" Sam asked, standing from his chair.

"I was giving someone a ride home" I answered.

"Since when are you all nice?!" He spat.

"What the fuck do you need?" I was angry now. Then I felt a fist connect with my jaw, making me fall to the ground. I groaned in pain.

"You better learn to respect me" He said. A box was thrown next to me. "Take it to Johnny's, he's throwing a party and needs all these drugs"

"Okay" I mumbled.

"Okay what?"

"Okay sir" I corrected myself as I stood up, taking the box with me outside. He gets me so mad.

I should've known driving into that neighborhood would be a trap.
