Ethan Hunt and Grace were chasing someone, who had worn a hoodie on top of a cap and a black mask. The chaser had run in some abundant areas, buildings were ransacked and trashed. Ethan and Grace ran before him about 10 meters apart. The chaser was seen by Ethan in the street, even when he was wearing a mask and Ethan recognized him. He ran into the confusing maze of houses but was stopped at a dead end.
He didn't want to fight Ethan, who was a gifted agent, he also did not have a gun with him only a pocket knife. There Ethan held out his gun and pointed at him. He didn't dare to move an inch and raised his hand. Ethan could see bright ember green eyes the one he had seen before.
Two days earlier.
Ethan was on the move after escaping from the building but was stopped by a glimpse of a boy wearing a mask. His jet navy hair and bright ember green eyes. But he had to continue his run.
After that, he asked Benji, "Show me the CCTV videos of the party in Paris at Alanna Mitsopolis"
"Why do you need that for?", He asked Ethan in confusion. Grace and Luther joined them.
"I saw someone, I had seen him at the party" he answered. And Benji presented a huge screen with the video, Ethan went through it and told Benji to stop.
"There! Zoom at that bar" he pointed at a corner. The party hall was dark and barely could see everyone but the spotlight caught a person in white clothing for a split second.
A young boy.
Benji zoomed more, a boy with a bare chest and a white suit coat on top revealing his skin fair flat chest. He was attractive, cute, and handsome, with bright emerald green eyes. Holding a glass of liquor and a cigarette. He looked calm and lonely.
Benji clicked a few buttons on the keyboard and the screen presented the whole bio-data and other files of the boy.
Benji read out.
"He is the youngest son of the Hiragi Clan, one of the richest and wealthiest business groups in Japan.
Name: Rin Higari,
Age: 16,
Wow!!! He is popular more than an idol could have". A few pictures of Rin popped out, with cats, friends, and in the streets. he had a great sense of fashion, and being rich made him wear different.
"He ran away from home 3 months ago, the Japanese police had been searching for him. The last record of him was that he called his grandfather about that he was leaving."
Why did he run away, Ethan thought.
"Whatever he had done is related to Entity" Grace said.
"We have to talk to him then," Luther said.
Present/Now
"I know who you are," Ethan said, "you're Rin Hiragi, right". the boy did not react to it, his body posture made it look like he was calm. They both had their guns pointed at him. Ethan and Grace moved closer to Rin, and he took off his mask revealing a young handsome face with soft features and bright green eyes.
Did you get the boy, Ethan? The comms rang with Benji's voice. Ethan reached his ear and said. Yeah, we got him.
"You're here," the boy said looking at Grace. His English accent was different, due to his native Japanese.
"I saw you at the White Widow's party in Paris." Grace did not react to it but many people had seen her at the party. Ethan still had pointed his gun a his head.
"I'm not much of a fighter, I do not intend to fight with you," he said looking at Ethan. Ethan was still wondering why was the boy at the party, There must have been a reason, it had been while Entity had been active, and he lowered his gun, still not lowering his guard.
"Speak", Ethan commanded the boy.
And the boy spilled everything.
3 months earlier
Rin's story.
I was living peacefully until I received a message from an unknown user.
Unknown: I see you.
It felt like someone was playing a prank with me because I was popular so... I had those chances. I even tried blocking but it was useless. I even changed my phone twice, but the unknown user always found a way to come back at me.
Unknown: Don't avoid me.
The unknown user knew where I went and what I did, I noticed it answering me on other screens and electronics, even in my room, I couldn't escape. I found many cameras outside my room. Someone was tracking my moves. It scared me and made me feel insecure, I didn't dare to change my clothes or bath. I felt like crying. I contacted one of my close friends before complaining to my family and thought he could help.
On that day I was going to say the case to the police, stopped myself, my friend had died in a car accident. I had met him in a cafe pretending a 'hang out with your bestie' I knew it was not a coincidence, someone was messing with me. How someone reached us or even heard us. I surely knew I had checked I didn't have any bugs on me. The cafe was almost empty and it was night.
That's when I found out it was an A.I. She heard us from our phones. The A.I. popped one day on my phone in my room. Blue glitching appeared on my phone, laptop, and desktop. "I am Entity" Her voice was like one of Alexa's but a bit more modified.
After a few days, I was threatened to run away from Japan, I got a parcel with a fake identified passport and a few papers in it.
Unknown: Pack your bag, you're getting out of here.
