Mary Jones POV
I walk down the stairs trying to remember to breathe. I have never been to a party before. My parents never liked throwing parties and if they did they wouldn't let me go. However, this is my engagement party and it would be pretty weird if they didn't let me go.
I finish walking down the stairs and turn to the big doors. I gave a little nod to the knights and they opened the doors for me.
Slowly making my way into the ballroom. The ballroom was huge and many people stopped to look at me. I put my hands behind me and start fidgeting with my rings.
People whisper and give weird looks. Oh no do I have something on my face?
"Darling come here!" I hear my mothers voice, I look straight ahead and see her and my father sitting in their royal sits.
I quickly make my way through the crowds of people to my parents.
"You look absolutely stunning Mary" my mother's eyes start to water
"Thank you mother" i say back
"I would like you to meet the people that will be part of our family" she gestures to the Middle Aged woman and man. The woman had golden hair, shining blue eyes, skin that is as pale as snow. The man had black hair with a bit of gray, dark brown eyes and was very tall. I would be lying if I said I wasn't intimidated.
