I was able to hear the twins think even more than before. I didn't even need to concentrate anymore. They were easier to listen to since I was near them most. I've never had any issues when it came to animals as long as I know of the kind of animal it is of course. Magical creatures tend to be just about as intelligent as domestic animals, not always but most of the time.

When the first trial of the Tri-Wizard Tournament I skipped it knowing what it entailed. I already knew about the dragons. The Golden Trio were whispering about it and I caught pieces but it was enough for me to put it together. I can't stand seeing let alone hearing animals or creatures being tortured for entertainment.

The Twins were very disappointed that I would miss out on the action of the first trial. Almost any other time maybe but not this. I remember hearing the dragon's pain and anger in the woods when I found them.

I sat in the common room listening to music while staring up at the ceiling from the couch. After a while of doing nothing I decided to take a walk since just about everyone else was watching the trial. The rumors still haven't died down about what happened in class.

I was walking around spending time outside in the courtyard. While observing nature like I usually do I could see Harry on his broom trying to escape a dragon that was hot on his tail. They flew around the castle for a bit before disappearing for a moment. I tried to see if I could see where they went. Until Harry zoomed past me near the bridge closest to me. He flew between some spaces that were too small for the dragon to fly through. He did it on purpose. I can't blame him since the dragon was on the verge of almost killing him. I watched as they both got knocked down the deep creek that flowed under the bridge.

"Harry!" I screamed running towards where they fell. I mentally called for a flying broom to go help. It didn't take long for it to show up. I didn't ride often but I never forgot how to do it.

I grabbed ahold of the broom mounted it and took off toward where I saw them. When I started getting closer to the bottom I saw Harry zoom past me.

"Harry!" I yelled again. He was too focused on getting back to where the arena was to hear me. His broom was smoking after the dragon lit it on fire.

I kept flying towards where the dragon fell hoping it wasn't too hurt. I had my wand with me to help as much as I could. I came to a slow when I reached the bottom. I was next to the dragon. I hopped off the broom for a moment and leaned it against some rocks. I quickly scanned around it to make sure it wasn't badly hurt.

I focused on its mind to see if it was okay now. It was asleep for now. It had some cuts that needed some tending to from Harry. Again I didn't blame either of them.

I had my wand and remembered some spells I learned in Hagrid's class about Dragons. I had to take a lot of notes in that class since I preferred the animals over the people.

I whispered the incantations to help heal the dragon. I was almost done when it started to stir from its sleep.

"Shhhh. It's okay. You're not badly injured. I'm not here to hurt you. I'm here to help. I hate what they did to you and the others," I said to it as it was slowly becoming conscious.  I finished the last incantation on the last cut. "There you go. I think I got it all."

It slowly started getting up eyeing me. I could feel anger coming off.

'Who are you?' it asked.

"Im Aurora Vega," I said. I saw it still had a shackle on its leg. I zapped my wand at it so it would fall off.

'Thank you. Why did you help me?'

"Because I prefer animals and creatures over people any day." Except the twins of course and their family. "I saw what they were doing to you guys after you arrived in the woods," I said with a pissed-off expression. "I would have done something but Im still a student and it was just me and a Thestral. There were a lot of people there, almost all of them from the Ministry which I can't defy against when it comes to the trials."
