Time and time again, the forces of disharmony strike fear into the hearts of creatures all across Equestria, but the tale of the Starbound Princess is a tragic one, and one without answers.
Attacked on her throne in the Ponish Capitol by dark forces, the Starbound Princess was struck across the sky into a constellation. Her magic was then separated into artifacts by her attackers, and were hidden across the land to keep her sealed away.
Not long after, it was discovered that the other alicorn princesses had disappeared without a trace. Equestria was searched far and wide, but nocreature could find where they had gone. It was suspected that one of their old foes had returned, but there were no more attacks after they disappeared, and the land eventually returned to how it was before.
Thousands of moons have passed since the disappearance of the Alicorns, and without them, the control of the kingdoms has been passed onto the ponies. The land of Equestria has been without conflict ever since, but has lost the magic of friendship over time since the disappearance of the Princess of Friendship.
The other kingdoms have stayed quiet and let the ponies solve their own problems, choosing instead to focus on preventing war between each other now that the Princess of Friendship is no longer able to maintain treaties and harmony between countries and kingdoms.
In the town known as 'Ourlight', a lone baker shall be the one to seek out the artifacts to release the Princess of Friendship. She will travel across the lands, enduring all manner of things in order to revive the Starbound Princess.
She will save the Starbound Princess
The Starbound Princess will save her.
They shall save us all.
