Well another monday, another boring, long, unfun monday. Why the hell did the guy or girl that invented the days of the week have to include monday, it even sounds boring. So I hoped out of bed rushing to see my phone I wonder if My boyfriend texted me, was all that I was thinking. I got to my phone and wow did I have heaps of messages. People really loved me. Well I admit that was a bit of an exaggerastion but you know what I mean.
" Lily move your fat bum " I heard my friend fiona call.
" Hang on Man, Your so impatient " I replied.
" Just Move were gonna be late, You do remeber what we have on right ? " Fiona asked curiosly.
Omg I thought digging in the back of my mind how could I have forgot. A dinner date, No. A Dental appointment, come on lily think use your brain for once. I got it a mail run uhh damn what am I thinking its not that. Ah... Umm... DAMN!!
After minutes Fiona answered " A bloody Manicure Babe, Duh "
" Oh right I knew that " I answered while pulling a weird face that said I knew that.
So I got dressed as fast as I could. How could I forget the thing I was looking forward to the whole week. I decided to chose some nice clothes because whats the point of having really nice nails and shabby clothes. I shivered at the thought and fiona stared at me like I had a big piece of bubble gum in my hair. And what was more embarassing was that I actually had a humongus piece of bubble gum in my hair and man it had a horrible colour. It was a mixed colour between blue purple and horrible light black. So I got fiona to chop it out while I was screaming like a little girl. When it finally came out I put some make up on and off we went.
" Hello " The lady at the counter of the manicure shop said " Have you booked a session? "
" Actually we have under the name of red devils" Fiona stated.
" Why red devils " I whispered.
" Because its my favourite colour, red devil " She replied.
" Ok, right this way please " The lady said.
Wow I thought now this was worth all the hassle. Fiona had took the liberty to book us our own private room to get manicures in. Man I thought it was seriously flash, I mean there was a flat screen T.V . Three lazy boys made of leather and lots of special ornaments. We stood there for ages staring at the room then each other neither her or me expected it to be this flash. After us having our staring marathon a man walked in. He had fairly long brown hair, Lovely Blue eyes that sometimes looked like diamonds and he was also quite tall.
" Hello beautiful ladys " He said " My name is Xavier I will be assiting one of you lovely ladys, And my Friend Troy will assit the other lady."
" Umm.. " I said " ill go with you and my friend " I guestered to Fiona but stopped, she was practically drolling over troy so I knew that I made the right choice. " She'll go with Troy " I finshed my sentence.
" Ok then " Troy said to Fiona " You sit over here " and guestered to a lazy boy.
" And you, Umm could I please know your name " Xavier said.
It took me a while to figure out he was talking to me. The I finally Answered " Oh... Its... Umm Lily ".
And with that our mancures start I couldnt hear or see anything Fiona was doing because there was a big lazy boy in the way.
" You have lovely hands " Xavier Stated.
" Oh thanks " I answered feeling a big blush come on.
" What do you do for a living Lily " He asked.
Wow when he said my name it was like angels were singing and heaps of other romantic crap.
" Lily did you hear me? " Xavier asked sounding worried.
" Oh I.. I study " I said.
" What do you study? "
" I want to teach dancing to children, Well not really children like teenagers" I stated.
" That sounds cool, You know before I got this job I used to be a sport teacher " He said.
" Oh sweet, how was it? " Now I was interested in his answer.
" It was hard as, because well I was teaching 17 year olds and well they were ru.. " He said before the lady who was at the counter interupted him.
" Five more minutes " She said.
I looked down at my nails and man they looked wonderful he was really good at what he did. He put a beautiful frangipani with floral patterns faintly in the background. And as Fiona had suggested it was in the colour red devil. Now I could see why fiona liked it so much, it was a very beautiful colour.
' Umm.. I was wondering if I could have your number, but you know... if you dont want to give it, its cool " He said while madly blushing.
" Now why would you think that " I said before laughing hardcore. " My numbers 021 345 4647 " I said while gasping for air in the middle of my words.
" Ok cool well ill text you soon " And with that he walked out smiling.
Damn I thought what is my boy friend gonna say I thought. Oh wait thats right I broke up with him before when I was drunk but now I see that, that was the right decision. In the middle of middle off my thoughts Fiona ran up to me with her face full of glee I could tell her guy troy asked for her number to.
" Yes I know He asked for your number " I sadi trying to sound really smart.
" No more then that he asked to go out with me, ME, ME Do you know what that means! " She said.
" Ok, I know but now lets go home that manicure took 2 and a half hours and I need rest " I said before dragging her back to my house.
We got to my house and, oh crap I cant find my keys I thought. Now im screwed!! Panic, PAnic, PANic, PANIc, PANIC I thought when she saved me.
" Hey you looking for something " Fiona stated while holding my keys up.
Grabbing them from her I said my thanks and then rushed to my bed. Yay Nice soft bed I thought. Now all I need to do is...
" Lily im going out to dinner with Troy now ill see you later babe " Fiona called out and I choose to not reply.
BRING BRING BRING BRING my cell phone rang as loud as an elephant stomping. I picked it up and was suprised to hear Xavier voice at the other end.
" Hey im ot busy tonight so ill meet you at pizza hut ok, at 7.30 yip got to go bye " Xavier said sounding keen as.
Well that was a quick convo I thought but decided that it was probably because he had some other ladys nails to do. But I should Have looked into it I should have called him back!
