Life After

It's been a couple of months since Isabella's first day at school, she had joined the cheerleading team and had made it into the team. Peter's popularity rose as Isabella had become the head cheerleader after the former head cheerleader graduated and they started dating

The Avengers were doing extremely well considering they work alongside the military and the government but they made sure to still keep both of the youngest members of their team weren't given out to the public as they didn't want them to get distracted while still in school or until they decided when they wanted their names to be told to the public

Issy? Peter asked as he entered their shared room at the compound

Ya Petey? Isabella asked

Let's go out for a date? Peter asked

Sure, where do you want to go? Isabella asked

Up to you, we can go grab some burgers then head up the Statue of Liberty? Peter suggested

Sure, let's do it! Isabella said excitedly as they made their way out of the compound then went to the nearby burger joint before heading to the Statue o f Liberty

Being up here is so fun. Isabella said

It is, is this your first time seeing the Statue of Liberty? Peter asked

It is but being on top of it, is so much better than being at the bottom. Isabella said as she kissed Peter on the cheek as Peter smiled

I'm glad I was the one to show you the top of the Statue of Liberty. Peter said smiling

Thanks Peter. Isabella said as she put her head on his shoulder while he pulled her closer to his body as they watched all of the people go by along with all of the couples walking around as Isabella had fallen asleep which Peter could feel immediately and made sure that she wouldn't fall off the Statue of Liberty

Peter gathered Isabella into his arms before swinging back to the compound which didn't take him too long for them to arrive at the compound and made his way to their shared room as Peter woke Isabella up so that she would be able to get changed into more comfortable clothing before they headed to bed and let the darkness consume the both of them

Meanwhile, Coulson knew that his daughter and future son-in-law went on a date but didn't know that they had come back since it was pretty late into the night when he decided to check on his daughter's room to see if they had come back from their date to find them fast asleep snuggled into each other arms with smiles on their faces before closing the door behind him and made his way to the kitchen to have a late night snack as he was joined by Nick and offered to share his ice cream with him

It's alright Coulson. Nick said as Coulson just shrugged his shoulders before continuing to eat his ice cream

They came back. Coulson said

That's good, I'm glad that she was able to adjust to her new environment very easily. Nick said

I'm glad too, thanks by the way. Coulson said as Nick looked confused at Coulson's statement

What do you mean? Nick asked

Thank you for letting Issy join the team along with helping me out with her. Coulson said smiling

No problem Coulson, everyone loves having Isabella on the team and they already treated her like their own. Nick said

I'm thankful for all of you. Coulson said smiling

No problem, now go back to sleep. Nick said as Coulson finished eating the remaining half of his ice cream before heading back to his room and let the darkness consume him completely
