Anger

I used to be willing, but I’m not anymore.

I’m shutting you out, I’m closing my door.

Times have changed, nothing is like before

–And now, because of you, my spirit is sore.

I thought I could trust you, but my heart you tore

Oh you, the one that I used to adore.

It seems I will stay here forevermore

Trapped here where all I am is ignored.

I feel like I have been cut with a sword

I’ve got so much more pain than I can afford

I thought I could be safe while I explored

Now I wonder how my happiness will ever be restored

Risks

It’s something I won’t forget

But I don’t know, should I regret?

Oh why did I test my luck

I wish I was under a rock

It’s better to be called a risk-taker

Than to ever have been a heart-breaker

I fell into his deep trance

And decided to take the chance

I was once so, so close

I went from highs to lows

I could’ve touched the sky

Now I just want to cry

Now it seems so far

I feel like a broken guitar

Now I’m deep underground

Feeling like I just drowned

I guess love is like a rose

It is pretty but then come those

Moments that make your soul shake

And wonder if it was all a mistake

I am a bird

And it’s so absurd

How he pretended to help me fly

And then so suddenly said goodbye.

Heart-sewing Kit

It’s warm as the sunlight, and it’s cold as ice.

It’s not like it’s sugar, it’s not like it’s spice.

But you know that a spark causes light to be lit.

Well I got no energy to be dealing with it.

Don’t just play it safe, come on, roll the dice.

Just leave me, I told you, I won’t pay the price.

There’s a part of you that’s willing, a small little bit.

I’m not taking chances, I refuse to commit.

Don’t be afraid of it, it will really be nice.

But it might be turned into a vile, cruel vice.

You must admit that he might be it.

Well, it’s not like I have a heart-sewing kit.
