A new way

"JIANG FENGMIAN! How can you do this to him! He is your kid! Your blood! How can you slap that 5 year old just because he drew something which scared your Bastard son!" Madam yu shouted. "Yes I can and I have madam yu!" jiang fengmian replied coldly. One could hear the couple all day shouting, and the main topic of their quarrel- their adoptive and the real son. 

"IF YOU DON'T LIKE HOW I TREAT THE KIDS THEN LEAVE! YOU ARE NO ONE WITHOUT ME BUT MAIDEN YU! The title of madam yu the fierce spider is what you got because of your father's dirty politics and our marriage is one of the outcomes!  leave and let me live peacefully!" fengmian commanded in full voice. But madam yu was no one to handle insult. she earned the tile of the fierce spider because of defeating the great spider monster which nearly devoured the yu sect. And for her needing fengmian, hah! maybe he is still dreaming. She could never stand on that land which disrespected her but still she remained in yunmeng just for the sake of marriage but now it was too much. 

"Very well then. I will leave but I know you will always keep your bastard over my kids, if I will eave they will also leave the yunmeng jiang i know how to treat kids better than you." she said in a cold voice. "NO! You can't take them! They are my kids too!" fengmian snapped. "Why cant i fengmian? they are my kids too and as for now you just slapped your son, my son!" madam yu said angrily. "No! not yanli! she is dear to me! take that trash of yours. Jiang Haoyu! bring jiang cheng right here!" he commanded. "HOW DARE YOU CALL MY SON TRASH! He is lot better than your Bastard!" madam yu roared. "A trash is a trash no matter how you decorate it. And about my son being my bastard, look at your self you spoiled brat!" fengmian growled. "IF SO!-" she was cut midway when jiang cheng appeared with puffy eyes and a swollen left cheek. he said softly "yes a-niang, yes a-die, You called for me." he looked at his angry parents. He knew maybe today he was gone for sure. He just made a drawing of his lost dogs as for a memory but maybe showing it to his father was a blunder.

"Jiang Cheng today you will decide your fate, your so called a-die and I have decided to stay apart, whom do you wanna live with?" madam yu said while glaring at that boy maybe mentally telling that boy to live with her. Small a-cheng looked at her mother then at his father. He thought for a second then replied "with a-niang because she will not hit me" haah! madam yu laughed sarcastically, "look what you made out of this innocent boy, now maybe we should call yanli to get her opinion on how well you raise kids" fengmian sighed, he signaled jiang haoyu to bring yanli also in. After a while both yanli and wuxian enters. wuxian showed a big innocent smile and said "a-die called jiejie so i also came" hmm.. fengmian looked at wuxian with a smile he then picks him up and hold him in his arms, he then looks at yanli, he started with a calm tone not to scare the girl. "a-li, your mother and i have decided to stay apart, you have to choose who do you wanna live with, your mother or with me?" Yanli also thought for a second, then asked "a-cheng whom do you wanna live with?" she looked at the boy standing alone near the pillar with lotus designs. "uhmm with a-niang." yanli then said "ok then final i will live with a-die because a-xian will be lonely" right choice a-li, fengmian appreciated the girl then turned around "now now kids don't worry i will find you a new a-niang, a loving one" he said while giving his one last look to the mother and son. they all left leaving madam yu, sorry yu ziyuan and jiang cheng behind. 

"a-niang" jiang cheng called his mother from her world of thoughts, "a-niang did i made a right choice?" ziyuan looked at his son then said "right one indeed, now tell me does it still hurt on your cheek?" jiang cheng could not process the sudden change in her mother's attitude but for only once he wanted his other's love. "yes it does" he this time did not lied this time because he wanted, no needed that affection for once. 

half and hour later~

Jiang Cheng and Yu Ziyuan packed their stuff and was ready to leave just waiting for their carriage to be prepared, suddenly wuxian appears with a toy rabbit, he then said "i will miss you a-cheng here take this with you, it will remind you of me. And here this one, (taking a little brush- smaller than the usual one, one which these 5 year olds could handle) jiejie gave you this, and yes! don't forget to make new friends!" 

Yu ziyuan chuckled this was the first time in their 5 year life time wuxian and jiang cheng heard her laugh heartily. She then bowed down and called wuxian near her. Wuxian approached her, she hugged him tightly and for the first and last time she said lovingly to that boy "a-xian, take care of yanli" wuxian hugged her back crying said "yes i will! I will protect her!"

They then took their leave finally, the day ended and fengmian was alone in his room. He was thinking hard, not about the leave of his former wife and his son but about the upcoming all sect meeting.

On the other hand, Yu ziyuan looked at the sky then at his sleeping son. She sighed, now finally she was free.

She asked the carriage driver to stop at a point, she said" stop here from here we will go alone"

They both got off from the carriage. Jiang cheng rubbed his eyes then asked "what happened a-niang why did we stopped here? Wouldn't we reach there in the morning?" "we are not going to yu city, we are going to gusu lan instead" she replied dryly.

They got another carriage from there to gusu. They reached there by the dawn. They both were standing at the gates of gusu lan. People by that time would have woken up. The guards welcomed them. It was quite strange for jiang cheng 'why everyone is wearing mourning clothes? , why is everyone greeting us in the early morning? , did they all knew of our arrival?' all these questions were Circling around his head until he bumped into a tall man with a goatee beard. He looked scary and strict. Then yu ziyuan speaks in a instructing tone "bow to him a-cheng he is uncle lan, he will be taking care of us " he bowed and lan qiren greeted him back.

They all entered the hall, he saw everyone woken up, maybe this is the time when everyone wakes up he thought but he still needs sleep, he had nightmares all the time in the carriage. And that too the bumpy road was no help.

He was sleepy and needed sleep for real, he had eye bags under his eyes, not because he did not got a 6 hour sleep for one day but never got a good night's sleep in yunmeng he always remembered his dogs sometimes cried in pain from his father's beating sometimes thinking that he would be disowned one day. He looked like he could faint any moment. A boy with a bright smile just a few years older to him greeted him good morning. He said "hi my name is lan xichen, you can call me lan gege! I have a younger brother he is also of your age but he could not come as he was not well, you know weather in gusu is always cold as it is surrounded by mountains so he gets a cold every now and then but don't worry we will meet him soon! And yeah i forgot to say welcome to gusu lan, we have a lots of rules here some may not suit you but you will get adjusted easily-" he was cut in between by his uncle "huan! Let him sit at least he is not going anywhere" he bowed to him and then took jiang cheng's hand and made him sit on the couch he then continued speaking again. 'too chatty' jiang cheng thought as he drifted to the dream land. He this time dreamt of a good place a quite and neat, all calm not a single utterance all peace.

He woke up to find himself in a new room with white walls and white ceiling. He looked beside him was his mother sleeping with her hair open, hugging him. He hugged her back and slept again.

I know you all might be thinking that i have left my previous series then no as i got lots of ideas for it but those ideas contradict my original story so i didn't wasted my whole brain there only. So i started with my new idea
And yes i will be continuing birthday present too but later
