Meeting Kai and Nya

Marina POV

After a while of riding the Bounty, it suddenly stopped.

"We should be here," Lloyd said. "Do you see anything?" We each pick out a side to look

"Nothing here," I replied. "Arin?"

"Nothing on this side, just mud," Arin replied. "Sora?"

"Just two big dragons in a massive battle with those stone dudes," Sora replied.

"Two dragons in a battle?" I asked. The rest of us looked over to where Sora was and saw that she was right. Riyu began to squawk.

"Riyu's right!" Arin said. "Those dragons need our help!" "What's attacking them?" Sora asked.

"Craglings," Lloyd replied. "Rock monsters from the Realm of Madness." "Going in!" Arin yelled as he leapt off the Bounty towards the action. Riyu follows him.

"He just left!" Lloyd said. "You never run into a fight without a plan of –" He stopped in mid-sentence when he sees Sora and I getting into the SA Mark 01.

"See you down there, teach!" I said as Sora drove the motorbike off the Bounty towards the action.

As soon as we drove down, we saw Arin uses his grappling hook to attack the Craglings.

"Messing with dragons, huh?" He asked.

"Then we gotta mess with you!" Sora added. We got out of the motorbike, and alongwith Lloyd, we all defeaat some of the Craglings.

"Nice!" I said, giving Sora and Arin a high five. "We gave the dragons cover to get away!" Suddenly, a blast of water knocks us over. As we stand up, Lloyd said, "The only person who can control water like that is ..." We turn around to see a girl with a black ponytail. She was looking at Lloyd. "Nya!" Lloyd finished his sentence.

"Lloyd?" Nya asked. They look at each other and both said at the same time, "Why are you fighting for the enemy? I'm not fighting for the enemy, you are!"

They stop, share a smile, and embrace. "I take it these two know each other?" I whispered to Sora and Arin.

"That's Nya," Arin explained. "She's one of the original ninja. Didn't you read the scrolls Lloyd gave us?"

"He gave us, like, four million scrolls." Sora said. "It's hard to know which one was about the original ninja," "It's good to see you." LLoyd said. "Even if you do fight innocent dragons now."

"Innocent?" Nya asked. "Those dragons have been attacking the Cragling Village."

"So I take it that we were fighting with the bad side when we thought that they were the good side?" Sora whispered to us.

"I guess so," I whispered back. Arin nodded.

"Oh, uh, that, uh ... " Lloyd said, trying to find words. "...does shed some new light on the situation..."

"I'll say. Who taught you to just leap into a fight like that?" Nya asked. "Definitely not Master Wu."

"Uh huh," Lloyd said, nodding. Then he turned to us.. "You hear that?" He asked. "That's what I was trying to say. Don't just leap into —"

"I literally saw you leap down and just Spinjitzu Craglings." Nya interrupted him. 

"Soooo ... how've you been?" Lloyd asked, trying to change the subject. Nya turned to us and said, "Hi, I'm Nya. Lloyd and I go way back, if you can't tell." "I'm Sora." Sora introduced herself.

"I'm Marina," I introduced myself.

"And I'm Arin." Arin introduced himself. "We're Lloyd's students." "Sounds like I missed a lot." Nya said. "Any chance Jay's with you?" Her face looks grim when Lloyd shakes his head.
