A gentle breeze caressed the man as he inhaled deeply, holding his posture with unwavering strength. With grace, he let go of the string, propelling the newly sharpened arrowhead effortlessly through the unsuspecting buck's rib cage and straight to its heart.

Nothing made him feel more proud than claiming a fully grown brown bear, but a Buck did it for him as well. The creature ran and whimpered, struggling as it did. He followed the trail of blood leading to a now dead carcass, his prize, and took it by the antlers with his big rough hands and begun dragging it.

He stopped, however, when Rustling from the bushes near by caught his ears. He snapped his neck directly where the noises had been coming from but couldn't seem to spot anything.

That was until he squinted hard and could just barely see what looked to be some sort of figure standing behind the bush. "Hello?" His deep husky voice called out, fixing his posture with his bow and arrow now aimed at the bushes.

He was a fearless.

He could tell his voice startled who or whatever was hidden by the way the leaves rustled. Quickly, it ran off and when it did, the man could see what looked to be extremely long and white hair trailing behind.

"What the-"

Without hesitation, he ran after the creature. He'd probably turned over every rock in these woods, twice. So he knew almost every square inch of this environment. to his surprise, however, he'd never seen anything like this. It didn't take long for the creatures fleeing to turn into a full on chase. It was fast but the man was managing to still keep up as he carefully dodged and weaved his way through the bushes and trees.

That was until the creature went...ghost. It was almost as if he were chasing something in his imagination. "What?" confused, the man spoke out loud as he turned in circles.

He even looked up into the trees but didn't see anything but tangled branches and dancing leaves. He knew these forest were filled with all sorts of creatures but one that could be as swift and quiet as this, he'd never seen anything like.

Above him, a branch bent and creaked. Sitting on top of it was a slim, beautiful humanoid woman staring right into his big pupils. Her skin was completely black and her long white thick hair hung off the branch like a limp snake.

"My oh my," me whispered aloud. Truly, she was beautiful. She tilted her head at the man's words just before jumping to another branch and disappearing in the tree tops. The man quickly snapped out of his daze and chased after her, once again.

It had been a few minutes later when he found himself standing lost in the middle of the woods. "Show yourself," he called out to the creature. He knew she'd been listening.

Second by second, he grew impatient and swiftly drew his bow, ready for any sudden jump scare.

This wasn't the case, however, when the creature came stepping from behind a tree. With one foot crossing over the over, slowly, she approached the man with a fierce demeanor.

To her surprise, he quickly aimed his bow right at her head. She paused and tilted her head. "Stay back or I'll release," he demanded.

She did nothing but continue to stare at him with a blank face and her big bold eyes before taking one single step toward. He fixed his posture once more, "I said stay back!" His booming voice echoed through the woods.

Oddly, he couldn't seem to grasp a good understanding of his emotions. He knew he was frightened but at the same time, he felt...dazed by the creatures majestic physique. He couldn't help the feeling.

It was like sticking a plate of breakfast in front of a starved dog. In this case, he was the dog, she was the meal.

Slowly, she took another step, testing the man's patience. She was bold and as brave as he swore himself to be, this scared him. Despite the creatures beauty, he didn't know what her intentions were and he wasn't trying to figure out the hard way.

Without hesitation, he relaxed his fingers and released his grip on the bow string, sending the freshly sharpened arrowhead flying straight for her head.

Within those few seconds of the arrows air time, she raised her palm and turned the flying arrow into dust right as it collided Against her forehead.

He stood there shocked, eyes wider than any owls. His heart began to thump even harder than before and his throat tightened. He couldn't believe his eyes as to what just happened.

Suddenly, he became extremely light headed. He fell to one knee with a palm placed flat on the loose moist soil and the other tightly clutching his bow.

he moaned from the random intensifying burning sensation that now filled his head. Not even realizing, his nose was now running a river of blood. He went to wipe but was just too weak. Soon enough, he lost all the strength his hulking muscle could offer and fell unconscious.
