Anthony woke up to his alarm clock going off. He grunted and pressed snooze. He turned over and tried to fall back asleep. Anthony hated school. Everybody hated him and always picked on him. His mom said that things will get better soon. But they never did..
Anthony finally sat up and looked at his phone. He always checked to see a text message but there was always none. Anthony sighed and got up. He put on a pair of jeans and a plain grey T-shirt. He then hurried down stairs to where his mom was making breakfast.
When he got downstairs he noticed that his mom was asleep on the couch. That's weird... Anthony thought she's always up and making breakfast.. A thought clicked into his mind. If moms not making breakfast then... Who is?! Anthony rushed to the kitchen to see his older brother, Mark, making breakfast.
"Uhhh Mark.. Why are you making breakfast?" Anthony asked. He felt stupid for asking it. "Ummm because moms asleep you idiot! Who's gonna make it?" Mark replied not even looking up from the stove. Mark was eighteen and was two years older than Anthony. Anthony was always getting picked on by Mark. But he never told anyone. "Well.." Anthony began but quickly shut his mouth. "Well what?" Mark asked looking at him now. Anthony looked at the ground "Never mind.. It's stupid.." Mark smiled "You finally figured out your stupid good job!" Anthony sighed and went to the bathroom and curled up into a ball. Could life get any worse?
"Yo, stupid-head, breakfast is ready!" Mark called from the kitchen. Anthony didn't want to eat anything. He just wanted to die. Who would care? But he knew he couldn't... His mother would be heartbroken. Anthony got up and headed to the kitchen. "Awww did you just get done crying like a big baby?!" Anthony glared at him and grabbed a plate. Mark gave him some food and he sat down. Mark sat across from him. Anthony are his food pretty quick. He then went and got his backpack and headed for the bus stop. Anthony saw a girl he's never seen before standing there. When Anthony got there she had brown hair and blue eyes. She was beautiful. Anthony couldn't stop looking at her.
"Hi!" She said when he got there. "Uhh hi.." He replied sitting down. "What's your name?" She asked sitting down next to him. Anthony looked at her "My name is Anthony.." She smiled and stuck out her hand "nice to meet you Anthony, my name is Cammie." Anthony shook it and smiled. Maybe his mom was right after all.
