Mark imagine ~

School au
Angst

---------------------

"Look at me Y/N!" A tear leaves his eye as he grips my hand harder than before.

The whole school had halted all of their lunch break activities at this point because we had an audience around us.

I blink a few times because of the water running down my face, before looking up at him.

Did I mention that we are outside and it is raining?

"Let go of my hand." I make my tone more serious than before, lowering it.

"Y/N-" Mark starts but I push him away completely catching him off guard, which causes him to stagger backwards.

"I told you to let go of me!" I almost yell the last few words out.

He regains his balance all by himself even though his friend, Haechan tried to help him.

"It's over." I shake my head, completely ignoring the tears forming.

The rain proves to be a good camouflage.

"We're over." I whisper before turning around and walking away from them.

I do this so that I won't break down in front of him, in front of his friends or anybody for that matter.

"Y/N!" I hear Mark calling out to me as I walk further and further away from him.

I'm so eager to get out of here that I start to run towards the school gate.

Ignoring the fact that we're only half way through our school day.

///:

"Y/N!" My older sister Tia, sprinkles water on my face to get my attention.

I've been ignoring everyone at home ever since I had broken up with Mark four days ago. Everyone had tried to lighten up my mood but it just wasn't working.

I wasn't the type to pine over anyone. Heck, I've been in many relationships before this one, but Mark just felt special. He was special. He is...

"You didn't even tell him what he did!" My sister plops herself on my bed, after noticing that I had turned the other way.

"I don't need to." I groan, grabbing a pillow to cover my head with. Partly because I need to avoid my sister, and partly because I don't want to be having this conversation right now.

"Yes you do." Tia grabs another pillow from my bed. She hits me with it continuously. "You. Are. Stinking! And. You. Need. To. Go. To. School! But. You. Can't. Because. You. Are. HEARTBROKEN WITHOUT CLOSURE!!!"

Tia says with each strike of the pillow towards me, she even screams the last part. If she didn't have my attention the first time, she does now.

"Mom!" I scream, leaving my bed for the first time in four days.

I catch my mom making breakfast downstairs.

"Mom, Tia is-" I don't get to finish because Tia emerges from upstairs doing a little happy dance.

She gets to Mom before me and they both high five together, confusing me further.

"Bingo! I told you I can get her out of bed." Tia tells our mom and I frown now, getting the picture.

"Remember Y/N, you promised me that if you get out of bed, you'd go to school." My mom reminds me of the promise I had made three days ago when my wounds were still fresh. I had promised that I won't go to school if I don't get out of bed or step out of my room.
