Alora's POV

As I explored the magical Land of Eternals with Eric and Fiorella, I felt a mix of excitement and nervousness. It was an amazing place but a few things about it were confusing as hell too. Like a Blood bush forest, where the trees and plants of the forest are made up of blood. 

As we went deeper into the unknown, I got separated from them and ended up lost and alone.

I looked around and called out for Fiorella and Eric, but my voice got lost in the magical atmosphere. The place was like a fantasy with huge trees, tall mountains, and things that were too unbelievable to imagine. There were clear streams, green fields with pretty flowers, and far away, mountains covered in snow.

Suddenly, I heard beautiful music that sounded enchanting and drew me in. But something inside me felt uneasy and told me to be careful. I wasn't sure if I should follow the music or stay away from it.

Then, I felt something behind me. I turned around and saw a big dragon very close to me. 

THERE ARE DRAGONS HERE???

Its shiny scales sparkled in the sunlight. I got really scared and started running as fast as I could. My heart beating fast as fuck. But the dragon was faster. It flapped its wings and grabbed me in its claws.

I tried to run away, but the dragon's grip was too strong. I panicked and screamed for help. Just when I thought I was done for, Alaric appeared out of nowhere. I felt relieved, but when I looked at him, he seemed different. He didn't show any warmth or emotion. Instead, he looked at me like he didn't care.

"Are you gonna get down or not?" he said in a cold and unfriendly voice. I realized I had been staring at him for too long and we had left the dragon behind. 

"I-I'm sorry. Thank you for saving me," I said, still scared. But I was confused and wondered what had happened to him. Why was he being so mean? I tried to make light of the situation and said, "Hey, at least we got away from that giant beast! Not bad, huh?" I laughed nervously.

"Didn't someone tell you that you need to turn into a vampire? Or are you just gonna wander around and let creatures eat you?" Alaric's words were sharp and bitter. I felt even more confused and hurt.

"I...got lost," I said quietly. 

"Eric should've known better than bringing you guys here and then letting you wander on your own." He said and looked the direction. 

"No need to be so mean, alright." I said and he just rolled his eyes.

But before I could ask him anything further, he disappeared, leaving me alone again. I felt abandoned and couldn't believe what had just happened.

Trying to gather myself, I took a deep breath and kept going. In the distance, I heard voices coming from a beautiful sea. I cautiously approached and said hello. The voices suddenly stopped, and fear took hold of me again.

Then, Someone grabbed my wrist and pulled me back. Alaric was there again, both comforting and unsettling.

"Can't you stay out of trouble for once?" he said, still sounding cold.

My heart was pounding, "Thank you for saving me," I said, trying to catch my breath.

Alaric scoffed. "Why are you even here if you can't stay out of trouble"

His harsh tone hurt me, and I explained how I got separated from Eric and Fiorella.

"You clearly aren't ready. Go find them before you get yourself killed," he said coldly.

"How was I supposed to know where to go? It's my first time here," I replied, feeling frustrated. Alaric rolled his eyes, acting like he didn't care, and told me to find Fiorella and Eric as soon as possible before disappearing again.

I stood there, shocked by his unexpected meanness. I couldn't understand what had gotten into him. Pushing it aside for now, I hurried to find my friends, feeling more confused than ever about Alaric's strange behavior. There was definitely something more going on here.
