Drrrring, drrrrrrrring,
"It's so early..." Whinnied Stephanie, wondering why her alarm was ringing so early"Wait..... I'm forgetting something... Oh, wait, I remember!Valery, Wake up, wake up!"
"Why Steph? Why do you wake me up so early?" yawned Valery.
" Because it's the first day of school!" After Stephanie said that, Valery hoped out of bed quicker then a rabbit being chased by a fox. The day was finally here, in 2 hours, they would officially be ninth graders!

The girls ate, got dressed, did their hair, brushed their teeth, washed their face and did their make up. When they were done, they had a half hour to walk to school, even though it only took 10 minutes.

"Bye dad! See you after school!" Stephanie and Valery were already out the door when Valery yelled that.

They walked into the school, and were directed to the auditorium. There was an assembly to introduce the new students.
"Hello everyone and welcome to Hillside High! This school year will be awesome, but i have a few rules.
1. No running in the halls
2.No wondering around during classes without a hall pass
3. The new dress code:
- black, white, grey or navy blue
- shorts 13cm or longer
- skirts must be knee length

And that is it! I hope you enjoy your year! Keep your things, we will call you to tell you your schedule, supplies list and your lockers." Said principle Kia. Stephanie was called before Valery.
"Yes, my beloved Stephanie, your classes, your supplies and your locker number and combination" said principle Kia handing Stephanie the papers. Principal Kia was a mean principle. She was very old and short. The had grey hair and round librarian glasses.
"Bla,bla, bla, english, math, french, this, that, ohh, locker partner! Yay! Valery Smith! Locker 666." Stephanie exclaimed excitedly. She ran to Valery and they both took off to find locker 666. Locker 666 was the oldest locker. It was blue and rusty. It sounded like a goat died every time they opened it. It smelt like that too. On the bright side, the girls were masters at locker decorating, and made it look brand new. They put leopard print locker wallpaper. Then, they made a post-it wall and filled the locker with magnets. They had made a book organizer so that their books were organized by subject. But their was one thing about the locker they couldn't change with decorations...
