I'm surrounded by trees as far as the eyes can see, I live in a little wooden cabin just big enough for a small family, I would know. I lived here my entire life and I couldn't see myself living anywhere else since everything I need is right here. Yeah it does get a little lonely but I'm contemptuous with it. I've taken comfort in reading/rereading my books and writing in my diary each night. I've gone through so many diaries I had to make myself a bookshelf. The shelf is a little wobbly and has some sharp corners but It's still able to function. I guess I gave it a personality and traits similar to my own. Well that's enough of an introduction it's getting late and I should get to bed but first an entry.

Dear diary
Today has been such an oddly calming day. I haven't thought about my family once today, well except now that I'm writing about it. I do miss them, a lot actually but I'm fine. It's fine ! I'm becoming such a wonderful adult on my own anyways. I made some progress In trying to come to terms with them being gone, it's hard. After work today I was looking for a book since there isn't much to do but read. I noticed that I mainly had romance books and it had me thinking the same thing as always: "it would be nice to have someone" but

"What the hell. Who is yelling this late at night" I went outside to figure out what that unbearable groaning noise came from. Just to see a guy about 5'11/6'0, muscular, brown skin with what appears to be matted black hair. He looked lost and clearly in pain with blood gushing from his head to the point you can't see where the cut is even coming from. He has 4 lines across his chest like he got into a fist fight with a bear. I looked at him in comply shock "are you crazy, come in quick let me help you!" He just stared at me like he didn't understand what I was saying. In that moment it didn't matter I pulled him into the house and grabbed my emergency kit. While I was coming back I heard him mutter a "thank you" under his breath with a genuine smile that was kinda cute under all the blood dripping off his face. Oh shit yes blood, lia stop staring at him and help. I started wiping off some of the blood with a cloth "you're welcome, now can you tell me why were you outside this late and what happened to you?" I received no answer so I continued to clean his wounds which he winced so as I was about to apply the bandages I told him "hey this might hurt since I have to apply pressure okay" he nodded
