Stuck in the Middle

Chapter 9

I woke up suddenly jumping up. The boys ended up staying in my room. I thought they would have gone back to their room. I didn't have nightmares when they were around. They were still asleep. I quietly climbed over them and made my way to the bathroom so I wouldn't wake them. I used the toilet and took a quick shower. I made sure I had a change of clothes before I showered. I don't think George could take seeing me almost naked again.

I was brushing my hair when I got a bad feeling. I ignored it for a moment and put my hair up after I dried it. It was going to be hot today. I might put a charm on my room to keep it cool without it snowing if I could help it.

Before I could unlock the door and see if the boys were awake. My eyes suddenly rolled into the back of my head and I started having a seizure. As my body fell to the floor my head bounced off the bathroom sink slitting my head open. This woke up the Twins. They banged on the door wondering if I was alright until they saw blood under the door.

They kicked the door down not thinking to use magic to open it first. George held onto my shaking body while Fred ran to get their parents. George found the towel I had just used and put it against my head to try to stop the bleeding. When Fred brought Molly and Arthur to my bathroom Molly just about fainted.

The boys were panicking not knowing what to do. Blood was coming out of my nose now. The seizure was longer than the other two that I had before. After a few minutes, my body relaxed and I stopped shaking. It was going to be a while before I awoke again.

While unconscious I watched what was happening to Harry. Watched as a group of teenagers around his age picked on him. Harry defended himself against one of them. If I remember correctly the big one was his Muggle cousin, Dudley. The weather changed drastically and became suddenly cold and cloudy, it started to down pour. I watched as the boys ran for cover. Once they got to this underground walkway it became freezing cold. The water from the rain froze over on the walkway and they could see their breaths. Harry had a look of realization. Harry told Dudley to run just as a Dementor grabbed onto Harry and started sucking out his soul. Dudley slipped on a patch of ice and fell in front of a Dementor and started sucking out his soul too. Harry managed to grab his wand and produce the Patronus Charm on the Dementor in front of him then swung it at the one that was on Dudley. After they were gone Harry grabbed Dudley and ran home with him on his arm. Once he got home the Ministry immediately notified that Harry was expelled from Hogwarts for underage use of magic and the use of it in front of a muggle.

It was a few hours before I awoke. I wasn't in my bedroom or the house. I was in a different house. I slowly sat up my head was killing me and my body ached. I was alone. I slowly got up and walked to a nearby door. I made sure to be quiet because I didn't know where I was. I opened the door with just a creak and didn't see anyone. The place was painted in dark colors. I slipped out and quietly walked down the small hallway and saw some stairs. I hadn't heard anything yet. I quietly walked down careful not to make a sound. I had enough practice sneaking around so my mother wouldn't beat me when I was younger.

After a few levels, I made it to the bottom floor. I was able to hear whispering in a nearby room. I peeked inside and saw Molly, Arthur, Professor Lupin, Sirius, and Professor Snape. I breathed a sigh of relief. I gently knocked on the door so I wouldn't interrupt. I heard some footsteps walking towards the door, sounded like Molly.

Molly opened up the door. "Aurora you're awake! How are you feeling dear?"

"Tired but awake," I said with a small smile.

"Thats good. The meeting has just about started, Once everyone else is here it'll begin." I nodded and she let me in.

Everyone was sitting at a long table. Professor Snape was the only one not talking to anyone.
