The Set Up.

Feelings.

Ryujin's POV

I wake up bright an early to avoid having an awkward conversation with Yeji about how she got into her clothes.

It was 7am almost time for her to come downstairs for work. I brew coffee and make breakfast for everyone.

I see her stumble down the stairs. "Ughh my head hurts so much" She said with her hand on her head.

"Yeah you looked pretty wasted last night" I say handing her a cup of coffee.

"I'm so lucky Lia came to save me" She said putting her head down on the table.

She doesn't remember anything. I place the food on the table. Shortly the girls came down all came downstairs.

"Omg it smells delicious Unnie!" Yuna says giving me a hug.

"You look you had a rough night Yeji Unnie" Yuna says taking a seat next to her.

"Yeah I saw Ryujinnie carrying you up the stairs at like 2 in the morning" Chaeryeong said putting a piece of bacon in her month.

Yeji turn her head towards me. Her face red she mouths a thank you. I just look at her and smile.

We all finish our food and I go upstairs to grab Yejin. "Aeygo Yejin, you're getting so big now" I say as I lay her down on the changing table. I hear the door open, and I see Yeji come in. I smile at her then I continue doing what I was doing.

"Hey, I'm just changing her really quick then I'll make my way downstairs to.." but before I could finish my sentence I feel her hands wrap around my waist and hug me.

"Do not move or say anything or I'll kill you. I just want to say thank you for saving me from him yesterday. He was really starting to scare me" I nod and I try to turn around but she holds me tighter and rest her head on my shoulder.

"I also have a huge favor to ask you. He's technically my boss for a month, so can you please come with me to work so that he stops bothering me. Please till he leaves me alone. Plus, it'll make the relationship more legit." I nod again.

At this point, my heart was about to leap out of my chest. She kisses my cheek and leaves the room. I touch my cheek, and could feel it start to burn. I look down at Yejin.

She just smiles back at me. "Yejin, eotteokhae" I pick her up and get her dressed so that we can drop her off to work.

The car ride was very silent. All we could hear is Yejin in the back cooing and playing with her toys. I'd occasionally glance over to Yeji who looked very worried.

"Hey, are you ok?" I asked

"Yeah, I just hope things don't get weird at work" she replies back.

We finally arrive at the clinic. "Can you and Yejin walk me inside" She asked politely.

I nod and park the car. "Alright, so we got to make people see that we are a couple so hold my hand" she said while I put Yejin in her stroller.

I smile in excitement. "Ryujin don't get any ideas. We are doing this for Yejin" She grabs onto my hand.

There it goes again. Rejection.

We walk through the doors, and I see the man I saw last night. I don't take my eyes off of him. As I am staring at him, I move my hand around Yeji's waist and pull her closer. She looks at me surprised but then looks over to where I was looking. She got the hint, and said very loudly, "I'll see you after work babe"

Babe???

I was internally dying. I quickly come up with a response. "Yejin and I will come during lunch. See you in a little bit... babe" I smile at her. I could see that she was surprised by my reply.
