"A party-?!" Derek Morgan yelled throughout the little room the BAU was given to work in
"The man murdered a bunch of hospital ceos and now he's throwing a party?!" He added
"A party celebrating that the "unsub got caught", he's the mayor he can make that stuff up" Y/n L/n said, looking between Derek and the rest of the team
"A party of which a lot of CEO's are going plus a number of their families" Penelope Garcia said over tue phone
The whole team looked around at each other before their unit chief Aaron Hotchner spoke up
"We need to get into that party, two of you are going undercover" he said
"Why two?" Emily Prentiss asked looking towards hotch with an confused expression
"It would be less suspicious if two people went as a couple than if only one of us went" Spencer Reid answered
"Everyone always brings a plus one" he added
"Y/n, Reid, you two will be going as a couple" hotch decided after a moment
Y/n smirked at the ground before looking up and frowning, "really, you couldn't pick anyone else?" She said starring at hotch
"No I couldn't you two are going that's final, now go get ready" hotch replied
Spencer and Y/n groaned before walking out of the room together and into a little storage room
Spencer immediately hugged y/n and kissed her head
"You didn't mean what you said, did you?" He asked, obviously faking his sadness
Y/n looked up at him and laughed before saying, "you know I didn't"
Spencer smiled and kissed her head once again before grabbing a few bins filled with clothes
"They keep that much clothes here?" Y/n asked eyeing the boxes
Spencer shrugged before looking at Y/n, "the amount of germs and bacteria probably on these clothes are astounding" he said while stepping back
"Lucky for us I stuffed our clothes we were going to wear for date night into my bag because I was told it was supposed to be a quick little meeting, not a case" Y/n said with an annoyed yet relieved face looking towards Spencer
