I sighed and leaned back on the couch, thinking of what to do next. Suddenly my phone buzzed, I took it and saw a message from Chris.

    Leon: what do you what,

    Chris: what? Jus' wanna check
    on my bestie.

    Leon: yeah yeah whatever.

    Chris: anyway, there's a party in
    a nearby bar, wanna join me?

    Leon: I'm not in the mood right
    now.

I checked on the time and it was 4:50 pm. I got up from the couch and my gaze wandered around the place, I sighed then started cleaning the place.

After I was done, I looked at the clock and it was 5:45 pm. I stood there, think of what to do while I waited for Chris to come.

Then I heard a door knock, I head towards the door and looked through the peephole and saw Claire. I unlocked the door and we both greeted each other with smiles, I moved aside so she can enter.

"Hello there, Leon."

"Hi, Miss Redfeild."

"Ay, just call me Claire."

We both chuckled and sat down on the couch, she looked around then her eyes met mine.

"Sooo, what happened to you and y/n?"

"She said she needed a break to think and like that."

"Oh, so you didn't get a divorce?"

"You can say that."

"At least you didn't get a divorce, maybe she's willing to give you another chance."

"I hope so."

"So, Chris told you that he's gonna pick you up for a bar party?"

"Mm...yeah, how did you know?"

"Because he invited me to go as well, he said that I'll get a boyfriend and whatever."
