"TaeTae!" A loud voice resonated and the mentioned girl looked back and saw her best friend heading towards her with her signature eye smile. She smiled back, showcasing her chin dimple, and hugged her tight once she was within proximity.

"Fany, how was your sleep?" She asked after breaking apart from the hug and held hands with the Korean-American that began telling her about her dream last night. Other students all looked over at the sight and just shook their head or sighed.

It was a sight seen everyday without fail and it was cute but the frustration was killing them from the inside. Anyone with eyes could see how much the shorter adored the other and allowed her to do anything she wished to even if she wasn't a fan of it.

They just went back to their own business and suddenly multiple footsteps rushed towards the two girls and 3 other frames appeared.

"Taeng! Tiff! See, I told you we'd be able to find them together!" The tan one remarked and chuckled seeing the other two look at her with annoyance.

"Yeah yeah, you won this time Yul but I'm winning the bet next time!" The tallest one replied and a hit landed on her head from the one beside her.

"Syoung! This is why you two always get into detention." She huffed and the two just tried to appease their friend.

"Seoooo, we promise we'll behave better." "Yeah, what she said!" Tiffany and Taeyeon just looked at each other and suppressed their laughter. Tiffany leaned in towards Taeyeon's ear not seeing how red her face turned and whispered.

"Wanna ditch class with me?" Flustered, Taeyeon only nodded and let out a tiny help when she got dragged away by Tiffany.

"Huh? Where are we going Fany—"

"You agreed to skip class with me!" She replied cheekily and before she processed those words completely she was already at an arcade.

"But attendance—" She whined but gave up when she saw that her best friend was already heading towards a machine. The excitement was radiating from her and she just softly smiled. Maybe it's time to ruin that perfect attendance.

"Tae what are you doing standing there? You look creepy smiling like that" Tiffany grimaced and Taeyeon immediately went over to tickle her causing both of them to let out loud squeals and laughs.

Both ended up playing at the arcade till sunset and only then did they leave the arcade, arms full of prizes. Among the various prizes, there was a set of rings. One had a pretty red almost pink heart gem on it and the other just differing by being a pale blue in color.

Tiffany immediately wanted it as soon as her eyes set on the prize and definitely didn't spend more money than it would've actually costed to get it.

"TaeTae, don't you think it looks pretty? It's a heart!" She asked her best friend who was busy trying to not let any of the prizes fall on the ground. The mentioned girl immediately diverted her attention to the ring and smiled.

"It suits you well, Fany. Is it red or pink? It's hard to tell" She complimented and got flicked on the forehead, hissing in pain.

"Yah! What was the flick for? It hurt, you know..." Taeyeon sulked and pouted while Tiffany just laughed at how cute she looked.

"It's so obviously red, Tae! You sure you're the same student that never got anything less than a 98 for art?" She joked and immediately got multiple hits on the arm by her best friend.

"Shut! It looks pink!"

"It's red! Oh, TaeTae! Wear this blue one, we can match!" Tiffany remembered the blue ring and immediately put it on for Taeyeon and didn't notice how the latter stopped breathing for a moment.

She lifted both of her hands and put them side by side and turned to Taeyeon with her dazzling eye smile adorned and Taeyeon swore she saved a continent in her past life to witness something so precious.

"Now we match, Tae! Promise to never take it off?" Tiffany held her pinky finger out and Taeyeon chuckled at the cute gesture.

"I'll never take it off, pinky promise. Hey, we have a lot of matching items already? Yours are always red or pink, Fany! Let me have red for once—"

"But Taeee, it's my color!" Tiffany whined and used her puppy eyes making Taeyeon groan.

"Finee, I can never win against you anyway." Taeyeon sulked and looked away, wanting to see what she would do.

"Tae, if I'm red then you'll be blue right? It's your color!" She stated cheerfully and moved to the direction Taeyeon was facing.

"If you're red then I'll be blue. Just for you." Taeyeon whispered the last words and Tiffany tilted her head in confusion.

"What did you say at the end?" She asked as she linked their arms together, dragging them to another location.

"Nothing, just mumbling about how I'm going to tell your mom that you ruined my perfect attendance—" She teased and the girl beside her immediately whined.

"But Tae! It's only once! Mrs. Oh loves you anyway, she won't even mark you absent. Hnggg, so unfair..." Tiffany sulked not noticing how Taeyeon was looking at her with eyes full of adoration and love.

"I'll convince her to not mark you absent too, Fany. She loves me after all, right? Just don't forget to do her assignment this time you mushroom." She spoke and softly flicked her forehead resulting in a low yelp from the taller.

"Don't bring up my dark past!"

"Blehhh what's going to stop me from doing so, Miss Brighter than mushrooms?" She teased and unlinked their arms to escape from the wrath of her best friend.

"Yah Kim Taeyeon! You're so going to get it!" Tiffany yelled and immediately ran towards the girl who was running away while laughing heartily in her signature ahjumma style. It didn't take long for the shorter to be caught and she was immediately bonked on the head with a manga that they received as a prize.

"You! That never existed okay? Repeat after me, that never existed." Tiffany held Taeyeon her arms and leaned closer making their faces merely inches away from each other and a vivid blush immediately painted her cheeks.

"Never existed." She meekly spoke and Tiffany gave her a sweet eye smile in return and she swore on her gummy bears that her heartbeat was going as fast as it would if she ran 4 marathons in a row.

"Let's get going now, TaeTae. Sleepover at mine?" Tiffany requested with her big doe eyes and who would ever be able to refuse such an invitation?

She nodded and the former immediately embraced her in a tight hug. Pulling away just as quick, leaving a soft peck on the cheek, she grabbed her best friend's hand and started dragging her away towards the direction of her home while the girl was still processing what happened.

Tiffany Young Hwang might just be the death of me.
