One sunny day, Jeff decided to take Mya out to walk around. Mya was pretty hesitant, but Jeff said that they could go get ice cream afterwards. They get dressed and start walking around the block. Mya gets bored and wants to go to the park. Jeff explains that they can't because of the virus, and that's when Jeff gives Mya a huge explanation about the coronavirus and what it could do to her. Mya decides to just walk around it instead, and Jeff agrees. They make it up the hill to Jeff's grandfather's. He expects that his grandfather would be gone and they can just go inside, but I'm afraid that's not gonna be the case. They make it up to the back driveway and Jeff spots a car parked in the front driveway. His first thought was that his grandfather is back from his extended vacation. His grandfather won an all expenses paid vacation to las vegas, and let's just say that vacation lasted for a year and his grandfather hit it big time, but Jeff doesn't know it. They walk into the house and Jeff calls out for his grandfather, and there he comes walking into the room. He's an old man in his late 70's and he's near the same height as jeff. He has shaggy brown hair, pretty fat, but healthy, and is wearing a Hawaiian shirt with pretty little flowers and stuff printed on it. He also has some pretty spiffy glasses on. When he sees Jeff, he barely didn't recognize him, they hug and exchange greetings, and Jeff introduces Mya. Mya and grandpa exchange greetings and they go into the living room to talk.
Grandpa: So what brings you two to my neck of the woods?
Jeff: Well, we were stopping by to get some water because we were walking and then I saw the car out there and I'm surprised you came back.
Grandpa: I've been meaning to come back earlier, but i kept testing my luck, and now here i am, a rich retired old man
Jeff: that's cool
Grandpa: Anyway, enough about me, how's your grandmother's house? Is john still here and i hear you have a band now
Jeff: grandma's house is still standing, john moved out awhile back, and yes i have a band now
Grandpa: I remember being at a Wal-Mart and i see you on a display and it had 2 different albums, i figured since you had something to do with them, i might as well support you, and when i heard the songs, i knew it was you singing some songs so it warmed my heart that you followed your dream, boy
Jeff: thanks grandpa, I'm glad you had faith in me and look where it got me
Grandpa: i never gave up hope
Mya feels a little left out of the conversation so she has a pouting face the whole time. Jeff sees this and decides to get Mya to strike a conversation
Jeff: and grandpa, Mya here is really great at music too
Grandpa: oh are you now?
Mya: I've been learning to play guitar, it's no big deal
Jeff: you kidding, she plays any note from any song on par, she knows how to play battery by metallica
Mya: i only know how to play the beginning of it
Grandpa: it's better than nothing lass, if you keep practicing, you'll be good just like your brother
Jeff: maybe even better than john
Mya: you two think so?
Jeff and grandpa: we know so
Mya gets happy and hugs both Jeff and grandpa
Grandpa: oh speaking of, Jeff, have you spoken to Mr Criscuola , how is he doing?
Jeff: last time i talked to him was at the battle of the bands, he was also a judge
Grandpa: i remember hearing about that, apparently your band caused a huge ruckus
Jeff: yeah, we don't like talking about it much
Mya: it was awesome though
Jeff: yeah, but it's my fault it happened, you see grandpa, I had your invention the T.A.D.B and it went ballistic and it nearly destroyed the universe
Grandpa: wait...you mean to tell me the T.A.D.B actually worked?
Mya: yeah and it took me and Jeff to the future
Grandpa gets overjoyed. When he started inventing it, he mostly made prototypes and left some blueprints for Jeff's father, but considering he never got around to it, Jeff found it and finished what his grandpa started. Jeff also tells grandpa about the hot chips and how they gave him superpowers and how they killed someone. Despite that Jeff's grandpa was proud of him for being just like him. Jeff also tells him that one time when he and Mya ate cake, they went into the worst sugar rush ever. Mya really liked it because it was her birthday and grandpa was just laughing the whole time. Grandpa decides to share a story about when Jeff was younger, he was about to lose his first tooth. At the time grandpa had some mechanical dentures and when he showed young Jeffrey, the teeth came to life and nearly attacked the dog they had at the time. It ended up with Jeff and the dog going after it and nearly destroying the place. On the bright side, grandpa got to have all the cake Jeff's mom made courtesy of those rogue chompers. Mya just dies laughing while Jeff laughs and remembers how it all happened. After that, Jeff asks if there's ice cream in the fridge, and grandpa tells him it's probably expired. Mya gets sad and grandpa offers them to drive to go get some. Jeff explains that you can't go in places and they'll just kick people out. His grandpa assures him and says that they'll just go through a drive thru and get ice cream like that. Jeff and Mya loved that idea so much that they rushed into the car without question. They go to burgerville and as usual, they're ice cream machine was broken so they went to whataburger and they were out of milk shakes. Finally, they decided to go to the dairy queen nearby and luckily they had ice cream. They're ice cream woes were cured.
