After a few days living it up in Galveston, it was finally time for the band to go back home to Sweetwater. Katrina was in a decision making mood. She debated on going home to Wichita falls or to move in with Jeff. She decides to call her aunt and she explains why she didn't come back Wednesday. She tells her that if she wants to move in with her new boyfriend, she is ok with it, but she asks her" will you be ok?" She tells her that she'll be ok and that she needs to move on in life. She concurs with her and decides to stay. She goes to tell Jeff the news. Jeff's pretty excited, but he's afraid that she's gonna hate it at his place. Only way to know is by heading home. After hours of driving, they made it to the house. They unpack and everyone goes their separate ways. Max goes home, Anthony goes back to the garage, Randal sets his snare and symbol aside in his room, Murray puts in frehley's comet on the cd player and jams out, and Jeff and Katrina are about to enter Jeff's room.
Katrina: hey cool,you got Tobey Maguire Spider-Man on your door
Jeff: heh yeah, he's my favorite spiderman
Katrina: i like Tom Holland's Spider-Man more though
Jeff: but he's so...he's so..he's so dramatic
Katrina: he's the only one that made peter parker seem real
Jeff: hiding his accent and saying it's an american accent doesn't help, now if they showed uncle Ben's death it would've helped
Katrina: but his death makes me cry..
Jeff: yeah…me too.. Ahem, anyway , here's my room
Jeff opens the door to his room and turns on the light.
Katrina: * looks around the room* holy crap…
Jeff: yeah…
Katrina: this is way better than toys r us
Katrina looks around Jeff's room in awe. She's never seen so many action figures ever. What really caught her eye was the shelf of ninja turtles.
Katrina: those are a lot of ninja turtles
Jeff: yep, 94 in total
Katrina: I guess you mostly collect the playmates toys versions?
Jeff: they've been making the figures for years and have more quality than neca, not to mention that they're cheaper
Katrina: that makes sense, can i play with them?
Jeff: umm, sure
Katrina is happy and grabs some at random and starts playing with them. Jeff is a bit surprised that she still plays with toys, but he's glad that she isn't making fun of him or ridiculing him about the fact he collects toys.
Katrina: A part of me wishes I got with you a lot sooner
Jeff: why do you say that?
Katrina: well, i never felt happy when i was with my ex nor my friends..i felt like i got screwed over, heck i even felt like i was being made fun of half the time. Yet when I'm with you, I feel accepted. When I get to hang out with the rest of the band, it's like I became part of a big family...as much as I love my actual family, they were always so strict on me for no reason, they were always like " be back before 10", or " why can't you be like your older sister" and this is always a typical one " don't do drugs, it's a sign you'll go to hell" they say that one a lot yet my step dad smoked cigarettes 24/7
Jeff: i smoked a few times
Katrina: marijuana?
Jeff: yep
Katrina: how was it?
Jeff: very crappy, i used to do it once in awhile but not anymore
Katrina: hm, but yeah i feel more happier when I'm with you, i guess i feel more free
