"It's called Night Owl, opening night was like 2 months ago and it's already one of the hottest places to be. You have to know people who know people to get in." Lacy stretched her arms to wrap around my shoulders. "I've been having this fling with the bartender so free drinks on him" Lacy giggled.
I rolled my eyes and pushed her face away from me. Lacy has been known to sleep around with different guys. I'm not judging, it's just not something I do. Another way we are completely different.
"He better not cheat us out of the good stuff." Carter groaned stretching his legs out. We took a cab to get to the night club so none of us had to drive home. I could have been the designated driver considering I'm not drinking but they insisted on a cab.
"Now you're just being spoiled." Lacy laughed grabbing a hand full of Carters curls and pulling them out of their spiral.
"Quit fucking up my hair Lace!" Carter started slapping at her hands which in return made Lacy pull harder.
"Don't tell me what to do." Lacy pulled harder. Carter let out a shriek and grabbed a handful of Lacy's hair.
"Stop it, you guys are acting like children." I was stuck in the middle, because of course I was. I grabbed both of their hands and pulled them off of each other.
"She started it."
"He started it!"
"Hey, I think we're here." I looked over at the purple neon sign and in bold letters it wrote 'Night Owl' on the side of the building. There was a long line at the front of the building that wrapped around the back. It looked packed. The cab came to a halt and Carter handed the guy the fair.
"Are we able to get in?" I asked eyeing the line of people.
"I told you I have my ways." Lacy grinned walking to the front of the line. She started swaying over to the bouncer and popped her hip as she reached him. I saw her speak a few words to the big guy and he just pointed to the back of the line and yelled 'Next!' To the next people in line.
"Stupid bald ass dude." Lacy grumbled as she walked back over to us.
"I thought you said you know people." Carter pouted.
"I know people who know people. Completely different." Lacy signed.
We three started walking to the back of the line. When a guy with a black slick suit walks up to us. His hair was slicked back into a messy blonde hair style.
"Carter?" The man spoke.
"Niall! What's up man." Carter shook his hand. He was handsome. His smile was contagious.
"This is Niall ladies. We played on the football team together back in high school. Crazy bumping into you now." Carter explained.
"I was just about to head in to the club if you guys would want to join me. A couple of my mates are meeting me later." Niall offered with a grin.
"Hell yeah! Thank you." Lacy fluttered her eyes up at him. I rolled my eyes at her.
"Thanks man, we have come catching up to do, this is Lacy and Cassie, my girls." Carter handed out introductions.
Niall turned to me and paused. He smiled weirdly.
"Hi, it's a pleasure to meet you Cassie and Lacy." Niall stretched his hand out. I placed my hand onto his and he lifted it up to his lips and gave my hand a freaking kiss. He has an accent. Maybe he's just not from here. Sounds Irish. But he didn't do the same for Lacy.
"Nice to meet you too." I mumbled. He wouldn't look away from me. It kind of creeped me out.
"I'll lead the way." Niall placed his hand onto Lacy and my lower back and lead us to the entrance.
"Hey Mark, these three are with me." He lifted his hand from Lacy's back and patted the bouncer, Mark, on his shoulder on his way in before wrapping it back around Lacy's back.
"Yes, sir." Mark opened the door wider for us to enter. All I could see was neon lights down the hallway. Different colors flashing throughout until he opened a black curtain that lead us to the main floor. It was beautiful. Black colored the floors that shined in the strobe lights. The theme was black besides all the different colored lights. Everyone was wearing black too. Completely different from my red dress and heels.
"Lacy!" I hiss under my breath. She turned her head to peak up at me with a guilty looking smile. "Why is everyone wearing black?"
I didn't notice until now, but Lacy is wearing an all black dress with sparkles all over it. Carter was wearing an all black suit as well. Did I miss the memo?
"I wanted you to stand out?" Lacy giggled. So she planned this and knew the dress code. What if they throw me out? I stand out like a sore thumb. Why would she do this to me?
"Lace, I look stupid now." I groaned throwing a hand into my hair and most likely messing up my curls.
"You look great babe." Niall chuckled. "He won't be able to keep his eyes off you."
"What?" I looked up at Niall weirdly. Who?
"Anyone up for a round of drinks?" Niall said ignoring my question. Carter and Lacy cheering following Niall over to the glass bar.
Why did I agree to come again?
