The moment the words words left Jin's mouth I open mine to response, but Sky beat me to it.
"No." He said, with a slight growl in his tone, we all looked at Sky, even through his sunglasses I saw a strong mix of emotion in his eyes. "I wont do it."
"Sky," I said as gently as I could, I knew this was a rather touchy subject for him. "Lets try to be-"
He interrupted me. "You can go Ty," He said with a sharp tone. "But I'm not and that's final." He gave Jin a small glare. "King steve can find someone else!"
He got up from his chair, then stalked out the door, slamming it behind him.
Jin sighed, "I knew that was going to happen." he buried his hands in his face, rubbing them up and down. "I shouldn't have said it that suddenly."
Sub put a hand on Jin's back, trying to comfort him while I shook my head.
"I'll go talk with him," I said. "You two stay here."
I got up and turned walking to the door, then turned to face them one more time. "He will be coming, don't worry,"
Then I closed the door behind me and walked out side.
The sun was setting low in the sky, it wasn't exactly sunset, but it was getting close a gentle breeze blew through the trees blowing my hair slightly as I walked along the small dirt trail to the stable.
I knew Sky would be there, he always climbed on the roof when he needed to think.
I reached the edge of the stable, the door had been open and I heard the gentle nickering of Sea biscuit and my horse,
which I hadn't really named, but did I care? No.
I walked in and sure enough, the ladder to the stable roof was hanging there, hatch wide open.
I passed by our two horses and grabbed the ladder, climbing up.
Sky sat at the far end of the roof, knees pulled up to his face, eyes and mind focused somewhere else.
I hauled my self up, then begin to scoot close to him. Not close enough so that we were touching, but pretty close.
Sky didn't say anything for a long time, until finally, I had to say something.
"Listen, I know you don't want to Sky, but-"
"But what Ty?" Sky said suddenly raising his head. "But what? I have to?"
I shut my mouth as he rambled on. "I can't Ty, I just can't, Team Crafted is dead."
I felt a sudden anger in mind as I snapped, "Team crafted is dead because we let it die, Sky, and you want to know something? Team crafted isnt gonna be the only thing dead if we dont stop Herobrine! Do you remember how many people died last time because of him? Do you remember all the friends we lost because of him? Remember Ethan? Aviator?!" I paused for a moment before continuing. "He's already blown up half of the kingdom, and if we don't stop him he's gonna blow up the other half too. And after that? He won't stop until everything is gone, just he, himself, his undead army, and the destroyed world."
I stood up, grabbing Sky's arm with me and hauling him up. I grabbed him and looked him dead in the eye. "We may not be the heroes we were three years ago, our Team may be scattered among Minecraftia, but Team Crafted is not dead," I let that sink in, before saying. "And neither are you."
I release him, turning away.
"Think about it." then I began to walk away,
I was almost to the trap door when Sky stopped me.
"Ty." he said, so softly I almost missed it, I stopped, but didn't turn around. "I'll go."
A spark of triumph grew in my chest as I dropped down into the trap door,
"We leave at dawn." I said simply. "Grab your butter swords."
And just before I dropped down, I saw Sky give the tiniest smile.
