Backstage Nap with Noel

It had been quite a long world tour this time for Oasis. Noel and the band had finally settled in and were starting to feel like a family again. Noel was back in his groove and feeling a lot happier, writing and playing. The last few years had been so tough on him. The divorce, band members leaving and coming in, the previous album not performing well, coming off the drugs and learning about himself again. It had been hard for Noel but when he found you it put him at ease a bit more.

Noel was finally loving touring again and seeing fans from all over the world sing his songs back to him. He didn't like being gone so long from you and you didn't either, but you understood and would always be waiting for him when he came back. Noel and Oasis were wrapping up the tour with a few shows back in the UK. You decided to travel down and be with him for the rest of the time.

Although it was kind of cheesy and Noel would never admit it publicly, he loved receiving gifts baskets when he was on tour from fans and venues he visited. You decided to surprise him with one filled with all his favorite things. You also wrote him a sweet letter about how much you missed and loved him. You got to the venue early with the roadies and made your way to the dressing room Noel would be in. You sat it down on a table next to a sofa, it would be very hard to miss it. You tried to make it look not too decorative as you still wanted it to be a surprise for Noel and for him to think it was just from the venue.

After setting the basket down you went back to the stage area and took a seat at the very front to watch Noel during soundcheck. You saw Noel and the guys arrive in the small bit of backstage you could view. Noel didn't spot you as they all went straight towards behind the stage. Not much long after, they came to the stage to do a few warm up songs for the soundcheck. Noel's face smiled brightly when he saw you sitting in front of him. He look as amazing as ever standing there with his guitar. He had a stylish white jacket on with some jeans and a black shirt underneath. Noel couldn't keep his eyes off you as he strummed his guitar and sang a few words. You missed his soothing voice and beautiful playing in your ears.

You walked with Noel back to the dressing room. The other lads had decided to go to the pub for a bit but Noel stayed with you to catch up on everything. As you entered the room you could see Noel's eyes get impossibly brighter as he spotted the gift basket. You both sat down as Noel took off his jacket, and you told him to go ahead and open it up. He tore off the plastic covering to find to his amazement all of his favorite snacks and drinks. Noel was so shocked at how they could've known all this until he found a piece of paper to the side. He opened it up and read your letter. You teared up a little seeing him so happy. He put the letter down, gave you a hug, a long kiss, and thanked you for the surprise. You told him you loved him and gave another kiss back.

After catching up for a while, both of you were back to your relaxing selves. You stood up from the sofa and told Noel you needed to run to the bathroom and would be back in a minute. You ran off and Noel slouched himself in to the couch putting one of his legs on the table and rested his arms behind his head. You didn't think you had been gone that long, but as you came back into the dressing room you found Noel asleep. He looked so peaceful and happy sleeping there on the sofa. His head was tilted to the side, eyes closed and a slight smile on his face. It must've been so gruelling and tiring touring for so long and traveling so many places. You wanted to let him continue sleeping but you didn't want to leave his side just yet. You quietly sat back down on the couch. You weren't sure what to do but Noel looked so cuddly and you missed his closeness. You gently laid down and rested your head in his lap trying not to disturb him. It felt so nice to be in his presence again and feel his warmthness. You too became so comfortable that you too fell asleep.

Noel woke up a bit later to find you laying in his lap. He felt a little bad for falling asleep while you were there, but he appreciated you being with him. He didn't want to get up just yet and wake you up. The rest of the boys weren't even back yet so he stayed on the sofa. He lifted up one of his arms and began to rub his hand up and down your arm. He then placed the other one on your head and played with your hair. You woke up around 5 mins later to feel Noel caressing you. Although his hands were callous from the guitar playing, he knew how to be gentle and make you feel loved. Noel stared down at you and smiled. His smile always warmed your heart and you gave him a smile back. You sat up a bit and Noel gave you a kiss. You rested your head in Noel's shoulder and he held you in his arms until it was time for the show.
