(A/N: based on an episode of Bluey. My bluey fans rise up)

Y/N's POV:

I was washing the dishes as my two daughters were in the kitchen with me. Emma was dancing while Nadine was helping me put some of the silverware away.

"Ooh go Em!" I cheered my 6 year old daughter on as she giggled, wiggling about as she danced to her favorite song before stopping. "What happened?"

"I don't like this part of the song." Emma shrugged as I looked down at her.

"You got to take the good with the bad, kid." I shrug as I resume the dishes while Emma stands there confused.

"Huh?"

"Why are there forks in the spoon slot?" Nadine asked as she held up a fork, showing me as I sighed softly, shaking my head slightly.

"The same reason all the cupboards are left open, there's an apron in the sink, and the fridge does never shut." I say glancing at the fridge, removing the apron from the sink. "Your mum."

"Does that mean you don't like mum?" Emma asked which made me confused.

"What?"

"Well, you're saying that because the cupboard doors-" Emma was cut off as Hailee walked in.

"How's it going, single ladies?" My wife greeted as I shook my head with a small smile, leaning against the counter. Emma and Nadine ran up to her, hugging her legs tightly.

"Hey, mum!"

"Hey, morning, girls." Hailee smiled, ruffling their hair as I dried my hands with the towel.

"How was the gym, baby?" I ask as I walked over to kiss her lips but our kids interrupted.

"Unh huh." They said in unison.

"She's not yours anymore. She's ours." Emma stated with a smirk.

"Yeah, she belongs to us." Nadine agreed as both of my daughters stared up at me.

"But I want a kiss." I poured playfully as Hailee smiled a little with a soft chuckle.

"No, you can't have her." My kids refused.

"Why?"

"Because you said you didn't like her."

"That's not what I said!" I exclaimed with a chuckle. "Now give me a kiss!" I tried to lean in for a kiss from my wife but my kids were quicker to snatch Hailee away and drag her away.

It took my a while but I finally managed to find where my daughters stashed my wife and when I went to walk over to Hailee, Emma pulled me back.

"No!" Nadine exclaimed, her tiny body pressing against my legs to stop me.

"Why?" I chuckle.

"She's disgusting!" Emma gagged and I shrugged with a smile.

"Yeah! She leaves her dirty clothes everywhere, there's always crumbs on her shirt, and she never wipes her shoes on the mat by the door!" Nadine explained as I look at them dumbfounded.

"Yeah, so?" Hailee shrugged.

"Kids, I'm used to that already." I say and they look at me with wide eyes.

"What?"

"Yeah! You gotta take the good with the bad. Your mama's not perfect." I say and Hailee walks over, wrapping her arm around my shoulders as I lean my head against her bicep.

"Neither is she." Hailee nods to me. "Have you seen how her hair looks in the morning?" She said and I gave her a warning look to which she swallowed hard at. "I'll keep that to myself."

"The point is when you love someone, you'll take any part of them. You have to take the good with the bad. That's what I'm trying to tell you." I chuckle and kiss Hailee softly as our kids 'ew'.

"You guys can keep each other! You're perfect for each other!" Emma stated, covering her eyes.

"Perfect." Hailee and I say at the same time, looking at each other adoringly with a smile.
