Growing up Alice had a pretty normal life, a Mum, brother, sister, and stepdad. Alice's dad left before she was born, she always thought that he never loved her, so every guy that ever came along she tried to love as much as she could, but the boys never thought that her heart was enough. When she was 13 her parents moved states, to a place where she knew no one or what the people there were like, so Alice had no idea what to suspect.
Since day 1 in living in the new house she never liked it she thought the area was for old people and the people were stuck up and snobby. But her school was still another 20 minutes down the road, and she was dreading every minute on the way to school, she didnt want any part of the school or the people. But once she got their everything she had feared. was staring her in the face. Not one person would talk to her, no one would look at her and people judged her by what she wore, and said she was a slut, it didnt matter weither you were jesus or the nicest person in the world, they would judge you on what you wear. Alice was scared of being herself there that she put up a defencive wall around her self, by being a bitch to everyone. She found it easier to handle. But one person had to talk to Alice, beause the teacher made him to, it wasnt a choice. Alice didnt really like him but she didnt really have a choice.
Alice was sitting in class at the end of the day, by herself and she noticed a group of girls. They were loud, rude and mean. Alice didnt take much notice of them until they started pointing and talking. One of the girls Sam, asked were Alice was from when Alice replied with Victoria, Sam turned around and started talking and pointing again. Alice knew what they were saying, she wasnt stupid. The girls were talking about how girls from Victoria are bitches and cannot be trusted. It hurt Alice but it didnt really bother her that much. So she ignored them and went on with her life
The next day was cold which was unusal for a febuary. but when Alice was walking up to the bus stop for the first time she was nervous, She didnt know anyone there, but she thought they were all different. One was skinny with brown hair he seemed alright, but he kept smiling at Alice, another was a girl she had her lip and nose pierced with blue hair, and then a girl she was as quiet as Alice, she was blonde with a tan. She was different from everyone else, Alice liked that so she introduced herself and found out the girls name was Jane.
Jane was funny and nice, she didnt have this whole attitude thing that everyone else had, she was interesting. Jane had come from Western Australia with her dad, mum and 3 brothers. Her Mum was an athletics constructor which meant Janes whole family was sporty. Alice and jane talked all the way to school. but as soon as they arrived at school. they didnt speak again for another 14 hours or so. Alice also met a boy today, he was funny cuute in a weird sort of way, and swore alot, he hung out the guy the teacher apointed Alice to. the guys name was liam. Alice thought that there was a change that some thing could happen there but she was scared he wasnt going to love her back.
Alice liked to hide in her room. it was the only place she felt safe from everyone. But beyond the door was something she didnt want to face.Her parents. Every night they argue over wiether or not Alice should put photos on the wall or not. So her room was her sanctuary. No one comes in nothing should be.able to come out. but she could never hide from her worst enemy. herself. she felt like she was never good enough that her legs were to fat or skin wasnt tan enough and she hated herself everyday because of it. she didnt know what to do. so one night she put her head in the toilet bowl and stuck her fingers down her throat to make herself throw up. After she felt skinner but felt like her mind had taken over her body and she couldnt think for herself. And that terrified her.
