The darkside of me {SK8 the infinity story}

Part 1

I was listening to music in my room while drawing some doodles of my favourite TV show character. The music was blasting in my ears so I couldn't hear anything that was around me.

Reki apperaed in my room door.

"Hey sis!" He said, obviously I did not hear him because of my music.

He looked at me and said it again "Hey siiis!!!" This time I heard him a little so I took out my earphones and I looked at him.

"What do you want Reki?" I asked him a little annoyed since he didn't wanted to leave me alone all day.
"Come on dont be annoyed, I just wanna ask for your help!" He said a little mad. "With Langa again?" I said, knowing well he will answer yes. He didn't said anything.

I turned fully to him. "Okay what do you want?" I asked. "Well I don't know what to give him... today we will go on a date." He said blushing a little while talking. "Finally. It was about time." I said. "Well, what does he like?" I asked. Reki couldn't really answer. Langa liked many things and there was no such thing as "favourite". If he needed to pick he would pick Reki. "Okay, why don't you give him flowers?" Reki shook his head. "He doesn't like flowers." As I was thinking I looked at him "Shouldn't you know what your boyfriend likes?" I asked. Reki blushed like a tomato. "Hes not my boyfriend yet!!!" He said. "Jeez calm down lover boy." I said. "Okay, give him chocolate, he will defenitelly like that." I said as my final answer.

Reki smiled, noded and left my room.

I smiled a little since I was happy for them and I put back my earphones.

I was laying in bed. Its already been past a week since my brother and Langa got together. I was happy for them, but, Reki started to ignore me and always being with Langa. I don't complain much. I'm happy for him.

I got a notification. I grabbed my phone and looked at it. Adam is doing a race. My eyes light up "This is it! This is my chance to beat him!!!!" I thought to myself. As soon as I said those words in my head, I heard a knock on the door. I stood up, walked to the door and opened it, it was Langa.

"Oh, hey Autumn! Have you seen Reki?" He asked. "Mom asked him to go out to buy some things, he will be back about, 10 minutes maybe?" I said. "Okay, thank you Autumn" Langa said and I noded. I wanted to close the door but Langa stopped me. "Autumn." He said, his voice tone changed. "Yes?" I asked. "Adam is doing a race, next weekend." He said. I noded because I knew it. "Don't go up againts him." He said. "Oh come on, youre coming at me with this too??!" I asked.

Langa just looked at me.

Yes, I saw Langa and Reki go up againts him. Yes I know what he is capable of. I know it. But yet, I still wanna go.

"Autumn, please. If not for me, for Reki! If you will get injured you know he will be worried." He said.

"Yes, I know.." I said. "Autumn, I know what you feel, I felt that too." He said. "You fucking didn't Langa! You and I are not the same. I feel something else and I can't explain what!!!" I said. With that said I slamed the door into his face. "Im sorry.." I heard he said that and walked away.

I turned my back at the door and fell on the floor. I just screamed at probably my best friend and he will hate me yet understand why I did it.

I didn't know what was wrong with me. Since I saw Adam skating, something.. snapped in me. I wanted to go up againts him, and no, not because he was a good skater, I wanted to win. I wanted to beat him at his own game. I NEED to beat him. I don't care what it takes.

It was already after some hours. I was drawing yet again. I heard a knock on the door. I thought it was Langa. I stood up, walked to the door and opened it. It was.. Reki?

We didn't really talked since he got together with Langa, he mostly spent his time at his house and came home to eat or just say hi.

"What do you want?" I asked him. My tone was angry and sad at the same time.

He didn't said anything.

"What is it Re-" I couldn't finish it. He pulled me in to a hug. I didn't understand what was happening. "Autumn i'm so sorry I was ignoring you, I didn't realized it.." He said. "I-i.. didn't even noticed it.." I said. I obviously did, but I didn't wanted to tell him. "Autumn please.." He said. I gave in, and hugged him back. "Autumn.. Don't go up againts Adam.." He pushed me away a little bit to look at me. "I can't say I know what you feel but I know what you want.. Don't do it.. please.." He said.

I couldn't say anything.

I didn't wanted to make him worried, but this was my only chance.

"I won't." I lied.

He smiled and hugged me. "Thank you" He said.

I felt bad..
