The sun began to set on the horizon. Another harsh day of training her students was done, and the sorcerer could not feel any hungrier.
But this moment was hers. She always did this. At this very time, in this very place, she would find the training field all for herself, and she loved it.
She took off her weights and let out a loud sigh of relief. She glanced around for anyone looking and began to gently rock her body.
The winds whistling through the trees, the warm breeze, and the dimly lit field inspired her to move to the music inside her head.
Her hands reached up to her torso, down, then back up again. Each stroke filling her lungs with a dose of fresh air. She turned on her feet, her body following, and a graceful motion of her arms encircled until she took a full turn.
Not a care given to the world. Not a thought or concern. No pressure.
Nothing. Just her and her dancing shadow.
She smiled down, gesturing it to follow its own momentum.
Seconds later, her own shadow began to dance alone.Like the gentle motions of water, her hands waved in the air, shuffling on her toes to complement her graceful turns, her shadow following suit.
She gathered a surge of cursed energy and, like a wave, she raised her hands and raised her shadow from the ground. They bowed at one another and began to dance separately, occasionally mimicking each other's movements.
She best expressed herself through dance. The more she did, the more she felt like herself, which gave her a sense of serenity.
This was why it was her favorite time of day.
Gojo had never lost a moment's worth of delight when he saw her like that.
With golden hues painting her cheeks, her genuine smile, and giggles when she stumbled on her feet.. It was things like these that reminded Gojo life can be simple, and it was that young woman dancing that made him want to be part of that.
As she unmasked herself through dancing, he would unmask his eyes to really take in the pleasure of watching her move like that.
He only wished he could get closer to touch her.
Though there was no rule against it, but Gojo enjoyed building a little suspense- even he could learn some self-restraint when it came to the sorcerer he loved.
On any other day, however, he would not. Public displays of affection didn't bother him, but right now he wanted to indulge his senses.
Gojo watched her intently, immersing himself in her sense of enlightenment, careful not to make a sound so she wouldn't stop. Savoring every aspect of this moment until he's had enough, or she caught him staring.
This was Gojo's favorite time of day, too.
