"Navia... Navia, come on, we're going to be late!" yells Callas for the third time, looking at his watch as time ticks. "Coming Dad, one second!" shouts Navia in response, hastily putting on a sapphire necklace before dashing out and jumping on the banister on the sides of the staircase and sliding down effortlessly, before quickly sitting down and lacing her boots up. She rushes out, huffing a bit as she catches up with her father, who smiles at her before the two get into the carriage prepared for them.

"Weren't you taking a while - what were you even doing?" chuckles Callas, as he glances outside only to see the views of Fontaine that he was so familiar with. "Nothing... I was just struggling with buttoning everything today for some reason..." responds Navia, a small flush forming on her cheeks as she looks away so that her father wouldn't see.

In reality, Navia was stressing about what she was going to wear due to a certain guest who was going to come to the dinner party that they were going to - Clorinde. She was a Champion Duelist known for her incredible battle prowess and Furina's bodyguard as well, and someone Navia found very, very attractive. Her dark blue hair and her alluring gaze were just some of the things that attracted the blonde girl to her.

Hence, she spent a lot of time planning out the perfect outfit so she would hopefully catch the watching eyes of the Champion Duelist.

It wasn't long before the two reached the Quartier Lyonnais, and walked into a nearby restaurant. It was an event to celebrate all the recent accomplishments of Fontanians from esteemed companies, such as Charlotte from the Steambird writing a phenomenal news article or Clorinde being promoted to Furina's bodyguard.

The two walked in and were greeted by a waiter who directed them to a table, where Charlotte was already seated. "Navia, Mr. Callas, hi!" smiles Charlotte, grinning at the two in excitement. Charlotte sits to the right, Navia in the middle and Callas to the left. "Hello there, Charlotte, how are you?" responds Callas kindly, pouring the three of them some specially brewed Fonta as he sips politely. "Very good Mr. Callas, thanks for asking!" giggles Charlotte, as she whips out the news article that she had penned no less than a week ago, where she had written about Clorinde's promotion and the solving of the issue of missing young women in Fontaine.

"Did you both read my excellent article?" quips Charlotte, unusually proud of herself for the article that she had written. "I have, but not this idiot," laughs Navia as she hands the article to her father. "So rude of you to say, my dear daughter... but you're right, I've been swamped with work recently, so this shall be a treat to read!" says Callas as he opens the paper and focuses on reading.

In the meantime, Charlotte leans over to the blonde and whispers, "Hey Navia, Clorinde's already here if you want to go and you know... shoot your shot."

Navia takes a second to process the information, before turning a painful shade of red at the comment. "Archons... I'm fucking nervous," mutters Navia, before getting to her feet and telling her father that she was going to go talk to some of the people at the event. The news reporter points her in the general direction towards where she last saw Clorinde, and Navia smiles in thanks before walking over. She sees a lot of people... but is unsure where exactly Clorinde is, until the Champion Duelist emerges from the bathroom and makes eye contact with her, before striding towards the blonde.

"Miss Navia, a pleasure to finally make your acquaintance," says Clorinde solemnly, dipping her head as she takes Navia's hand and makes eye contact with her, as she asks, "May I?"

Navia dumbly nods her head, as she feels the lips of her crush briefly touch her gloves and she feels her ears burning at this moment, but she composes herself. "You don't need to call me Miss... Navia's fine," murmurs Navia, and the dark-haired woman lets the statement hang in the air for a few moments, processing it before smiling softly at the blonde.
