Mrs. Lou came back to the room crying.
It sounded like something was being wheeled behind her.
Maybe a food trolley.
No a bed.
Jessica tried to open her eyes, she was burning with curiosity.
Mrs. Lou talked to another doctor who said that "He is ok, he will wake up soon, I'm not sure about his sister though I think soon we will have to turn the life support off." With that she walked away hurriedly probably towards the next patient. Mrs. Lou started weeping again. Jessica wanted to sleep so badly but she couldn't lose the fight, not now so she tried her hardest to stay awake. Her mum and brother stood up, "Honey, we have to go, it's getting late, we might not be able to come for a few days but we'll be back on the weekend."
'No!' She wanted to say, they couldn't leave not now.
They walked out the door.

Suddenly Mrs. Lou screamed out in joy, "My baby boy, you're back!" Joshua Lou replied, "it's ok mum I just fainted,"
"No, baby that's not what happened,"
"What?"
"Well someone ran into you and knocked you down three flights of stairs, you've broken a leg, an arm, your spinal cord is damaged and your brain has internal bleeding, but it's ok the doctor said you'll be just fine."
"What about Jessica?"
For a minute she thought that Joshua Lou, the hottest guy in the school, was talking about her but after a few minutes she realised he was talking about his 'Queen B' girlfriend Jessica King.
"Don't worry I've called her, she'll be here soon,"
Joshua let out a sigh of relief,
The relief didn't last long.

He must have looked over at his sister because he let out a devastating moan.
"Wh-wh-what happened to her?" He moaned.
"She was in a car crash,"
"What,"
"Well this young lady her," Jessica assumed Mrs. Lou was pointing at her, "ran out onto the road, but your sister didn't have her headlights on because it was only just getting dark but while she was distracted Jessica Abbott had had a fight with her family causing her to run onto the road, and then I think you know the rest,"
"I hate that girl," screamed Joshua.
Jessica felt mortified.
"Hey! It wasn't her fault it was actually your sisters, and it doesn't matter that she can't hear you, you should still be nice!" Mrs. Lou lectured.
Josh just broke down.

She was making comebacks for Joshua's snide comments in her head when an extremely girly, whimpering scream entered her room,
"I-I-I-Is Joshie alright,"
Ugh it was Jessica King, the most annoying, pathetic and popular girl in the school, she couldn't stand this all she wanted to do was walk right up to her and slap her, but she couldn't so she compromised for imagining she was slapping her hard, in the face.
Mrs Lou replied, "Calm down dear, he'll be ok, I think the girl next to him you should be more worried about, do you know her, she's in your grade, her name is Jessica Abbott,"
Of course she knew her.
"No a don't believe we've met," said the other Jessica in a sweet voice.
What a bitch Jessica Abbott thought.

A nurse came in telling all visitors to go, Jessica heard a whole lot of scraping chairs, a wimpy 'other' Jessica giving a sloppy kiss to Joshua and then silence.
Josh spoke, "well I guess it's just the three of us."
