Prologue~
It was near midnight when Rowena reached the park, her blue and black robes flowing down her feet, her long black hair running down her waist, it was midnight and 3 minutes when it began to began to rain, droplets from the sky falling down on the dark moist pigment of the street, Rowena watched in amusement as the rain began to slowly but surely, rowena didn't feel like moving for shelter nor did she feel the need to go to the nearest convenience store and buy an umbrella
She closed her eyes as the tears of the sky began to fall on her face, her pale skin, her rosy lips and pink cheeks, her dark brown eyes
Rowena felt the rain run down her face and for the first time in a while, she smiled, her lips curving slightly as the water fell like tears running down her face
Then the rain stopped pouring, Rowena frowned, no- it didn't stop pouring it stopped pouring on her
She looked up and met a beautiful boy with dark black hair a smirk on his face holding an dark red umbrella "Hey beautiful" his voice was soft and soothing a hint of arrogance peaking through "What's a pretty girl like you doing so late?"
Rowena sighed, he was about her age if not a year older, she didn't have a reason to be afraid of him, she had a can of pepper spray in her pockets anyway, yet she removed herself from under the protection of his umbrella letting herself get engulfed by the rain
The boy frowned, his smirk fading "hey please don't" his voice softened for a moment "You'll get a cold" he handed her the umbrella his cocky smile returning "The names godric, Godric Gryffindor at your service m'lady" he smiled kneeling down softly so he could be at eye level with her "it's late, do you need me to walk you back?"
"You do realize that you sound like a serial killer?" Her sharp tone seeping through her voice, a hint of amusement peeking through
Godric paused "oh fuck" he mumbled taking a step back rubbing his forehead"awfully sorry for scaring you, was just a bit confused" this boy had some audacity "not a stalker or a serial killer, promise- just a very very concerned stranger- I'll leave if you want me to"
She sighed, Rowena was normally a very smart and intelligent girl, logical and rational she knew how absolutely stupid it sounded to let a stranger walk her home late at night but she decided to be a bit stupid at times and today was one of them "no" she paused "walk with me"
His smirk widened "Yes ma'am"
And that's how Rowena Ravenclaw met Godric Gryffindor
