"The Town is a mess, the palace is a mess. everything is destroyed" council men Romand said as Him and around eight others agreed.

I sighed and placed a hand to my head as I sat at the head of the table. A Glass of water in front of me.
"Yes Romand I can see That"
I took a small sip of the lukewarm water and grimace.

"Well then what are You going to do about it. People can't live like this, 𝘐 can't live like this" Romand leaned over the table his voice raising a Tad bit.

I look at him my eyebrows raised to their highest point and my eye balls bulging.

I know this man didn't just-

Isabelle placed a small hand to my forearm. Glanced at me and then looked at Romand and said "it's only been a few months since the war, everyone is trying to adjust and figure themselves out again. The Queen will deal with it as soon as possible" Isabelle turned to me again "nobody is too badly Homeless or starving yet Right?"

I sighed and pulled back from Isabelle. My hands coming to lay against my stomach.

"Correct, nobody is homeless to where they are on the streets or leaving out of tents nor are people starving"

I continue "the thing is is that a lot of money was destroyed in the war, whether it was burnt or stolen either way we don't have as much as we Did, replacing the palace and resorting the town will take thousands"

I had went through Alessandra's Office reluctantly this morning. I looked through her papers and documents she was storing. I didn't know much about being Queen but Isabelle helped me somewhat by showing me what I would need to do everyday. Which consisted of checking papers, meetings with council, writing letters, etc, etc.

Romand sighed and let a hand fall to the table "Great what do we do now then?"

I stood up and grabbed the glass of water despite how disgusting it was and drank it. I turned and looked over my shoulder. My dark makeup illuminated in the light "I'll muster up as much money as I can and try to fix what I can of the castle and the town both and whatever cannot be fixed well then...Let's hope a miracle happens"

Later on in the evening after I free from my duties I had decided I wanted to go for a much needed walk—by myself.

I was so overwhelmed with being a New Queen and the recent war and the revenge I had gotten that quite frankly didn't ease my heart much. I didn't fill the Gaping void in my chest as much as I hoped.

I looked up into the blue sky that was swarming with birds and bugs and frowned.

After Leaving from the front steps of the red knights palace
I didn't see Saphira waiting for me like I thought I would. I asked many people where she had gone and simply I got no answers.

How did nobody see her fly off.

How did nobody see a dragon the size of a dinosaur fly off into the night sky?

How did nobody hear her.

I went home that night slightly panicking. My daughter was gone, I suppose she had left on her own.
It was completely normal for Saphira to leave from my sight and not know where she had gone to from time to time She was a dragon of course she had her own life in this world of being a creature.

But what caused me to panic was the fact she simply left the battle field. She would have never left my side in a situation like that... Not without saying Goodbye.

Over the next few days my anxiety got worse and worse. She still hadn't come home.
Saphira would always come to see me at least twice a day or if not once every day.
