Do you think Harold is seeing Katelyn? I saw them hold hands the other day-
James asked, his tone down, as if not to be heard by anyone else.

Oh, absolutely! Why would you even doubt it? Harold stopped loving Linda when they were thirty five- he snorted and James chuckled, then he took a sip from his coffee.

Well, I think Linda knows, she just likes Harold way too much-

Ehh- Karl said doubtedly- I don't think so. Do you? I think Linda would do something about it if so, honestly, she's not so naive.

Well, you're right- James took another sip from his mug before looking up at the sky, it was a beautiful day, the birds sang and the sky was blue. The sun wasn't at the top of the sky yet. It was rather low down, as it was only starting to come out.
He looked forward and a breeze shook his blonde and curly hair, it was shoulder length, but he would always keep it in a neat ponytail, he liked taking care of his hair. But he would pluck out the little gray hairs he'd found ruining his perfectly shiny blonde hair.

Karl, on the other hand, hated taking care of his, his hair was short and not too stylized, though James would style it from time to time, as it bothered him how Karl's hair pointed in all directions at once.

So, about tonight- Karl started to say, only to get interrupted by a strong thumping sound that came from the cornfield that he planted all by himself (with just a little of help from James). James got up quickly, his chair falling behind him. Karl followed him with his eyes, confused -What? - he asked, concerned.

Did you see that? - James asked, his voice was trembling- something came from the sky and landed... In the cornfield- he looked at Karl quickly-we have to go investigate- he said, and without giving him time to react, he took Karl's wrist and dragged him into the cornfield.
