It's been 5 months since they met.
The two quickly became close friends, best friends. But they both wanted to be something more, they are just to nervous to admit it. Sure they went on a couple of dates, but they weren't official. They both learned the quirks of each other, their power, potential, drawbacks, and even danger. One sentence was stuck in jiro's head, she couldn't figure out why.
Jiro POV:
" if I surpass my limit as of right now my muscles tense up and I get cramps all around my body, luckily this doesn't apply to my hearth." I had a bad taste in my mouth just thinking about it. But I couldn't worry myself too much about it now, it was time for the entrance exam for U.A! Izuku and I trained together for this exam, to be able to become heroes together. Some jerk joined us a couple of times, it appeared to be his rival? His name was katsuki baguko.
The three of us were standing together outside of U.A, there were hundreds of other people our age, but we were confident we could do it.
They explained how it worked rather quickly, we had to destroy robots and there were 4 kinds, the 1-pointer, 2-pointer 3-pointer and lastly the 0-pointer.
(DISCLAIMER : I was creative with jiro's quirk and gave it a new ascpect, since i'm gonna be honest, it's BS how she can only fight if she uses support gear. she has 2 earphone jack holes on each hand and leg where she can plug in her jacks, her hearthbeat soundwaves can then escape from her legs and hands, she can even shoot small shockwave's out of them. Imagine her legs and arms as the bass boosters, they basically amplify her hearthbeat, and she can choose where the shockwave escapes her body. I don't know if you'll like it but I think it's much better then just have her use support items)
The exam started. I ran in to try and get as many points as i could, luckily I wasn't in the same place as izuku and bakugo. I boost my speed while my jacks are plugged into the holes on my legs, as I let quick shockwaves out of them. I see the first 1-pointer and replug the jacks into my arms, shooting small shockwaves that look almost like bullets. 3 of them were enough to destroy it. "This will work". I said before repeating the process on the other robots, I had to kick the 3-pointers while shockwaving them at point-blank to destroy them tho. I see 2 3-pointers running at me, I quicky plug the earphone jack into one of my legs. I shoot out a big shockwave so my leg gets boosted enough to kick the head off, making the rest of the body explode. I stick my other earphone jack into the other robot and let destroy the robot form inside of itself.
Izuku's POV:
The exam is about to start. I'm currently waiting for the big door to open. I'm snapping my fingers causing electric flickering to escape them, I usually do this when I'm nervous.
'Lets do Voltage flow at half a car battery, I can hold that form for 1 whole hour now without deactivating it. And that's more then enough time, since the exam only continues for 10 minutes, i'll up the voltage if I think I have too, or if I just feel like it.' I thought to myself waiting for the doors to open. The second I saw light escaping the doors I activated VF and zoomed into the exam zone.
"Hey that's cheating!!!" I heard the other students yell, before present mic denied it and yelled at them that the exam already started.
I quicky find 5 1-pointers, they are robots so I figure that I can easily short-circuit them by simply touching them. And my theory was correct. 'This exam couldn't be more perfect for me!' I said in my head, but I wanted to show off so I shot small lightning bullets at the 2-pointers, so that they actually exploded. And for the 3 pointers, I just ran at my full speed and jump-kicked threw them, then I jumped of the wall to keep my momentum and destroying the other 2 3-pointers behind that one.
....
"1 minute remains!!!!" is the last thing I heard from present mic before the ground starts to shake.
I grinned wide as I saw what was causing it, a massive robot the 0-pointer, there was no point in defeating it, but he already got around 70 points and was confident he would pass. He didn;t have to save anyone (mainly because uraraka used her brain and activated her quirk on the thing that fell on her so she wasn't in danger).
"AHHH RUN" he heard the other kids yell before he faced the zero pointer, he smiled even brighter, 'what a time to be alive' he says in his head as his hearth starts to beat quicker, and quicker.
He hears the beat of his hearth as his adrenaline level rises.
"TURN UP THE VOLUME!!" I screamed before surpassing my limit of a car battery, by a lot. I recklessly turn up my Volt Flow voltage to 250 Volts, mymuscles start to sting, but I have no cramps. I guess that I can only use this for a couple of minutes. 500 volts is considered high voltage for a normal human, so 250 volts to me should be fine. I jumped high into the air meeting the torso of the robot. I charged up my hand to 300 volts,making it glow bright green as sparks fly off it, melting the steel of the robot on impact. I channels all of the energy I got from Volt flow and focus it on my palms, I then fry the damn robot till it's head exploded.
I quickly activated Volt flow at my usual 15 volts, as I jump to my nearest building, I bounce of the wall of the building to the next one, till I got close to the ground.
Teacher's watch area:
".....damn"
"HAHAHHA THIS KID HAS GUTS! AND WHAT, 70 POINTS? DAMN!" Mirko screamed loudly as her foot was quickly stomping on the ground.
"this kid screams potential" eraserhead said while giving a smirk "don't forget about that bakugo kid, and this jiro isn't half-bad herself. I want them in my class nezu"
"consider it done aizawa" he said with a smile.
"AND HE TOOK OUT THAT DAMN ROBOT JUST FOR THE FUN DIDN'T HE? JUST TO TEST HIS SKILL!" Mirko once again screamed, not caring about the others in the room.
Jiro's POV:
We were walking back home, izuku and me, or that was the plan at least.
"dude, you took out that thing...FOR FUN?" I screamed at him on top of my lungs.
"well....okay i screwed myself here, yeah I did. I wanted to test my skill, and I even level-upped! I boosted Volt Flow to about 250 Volts for about 2 minutes!" he said proudly.
But something didn't quite sit right with me....' if I surpass my limit as of right now my muscles tense up and I get cramps all around my body, luckily this doesn't apply to my hearth'....'luckily this doesn't apply to my hearth' these words kept playing in my head...am I scared? That his hearth will stop if he overdoes himself? That no-one will be nearby to save him from a hearth attack? Yes, that's exactly it. That his hearth, which plays the beat I love, so...so much. Will stop to produce its music because he wasn't careful enough.
"Be careful okay?" I said, trying to be proud of him.
"okay, i'll be more careful next time, sorry to make you worry" he said while giving me a warm smile.
"...d-dummy" I said while looking away and pouting.
"you know what? Why don't we go out? I'll treat you to something, wanna go to an arcade?"
"...u-uh sure.." I said while giving him a small smile
I suddenly got pulled into a tight hug, with my ear on his chest.
"badumm...badumm...badumm" said his hearth giving a concert only for me to hear....
'I really do love...the sound of your beautiful hearth....' I whispered while enjoying his warm hug...not knowing he was able to hear me
"And I love the sound of you....the sound that comes out of your beautiful face..."
And then we kissed....
