Chapter 13 | Noah

The whole time in the party, I didn't even enjoy it instead, I just gulped down almost two bottles of alcohol. How could I feel happy when she was there at her home all sad. I don't know what's wrong but I'll do everything to help her.

What if she has to....?
No no that can't happen, she can't leave, she's here amd going to NYU. How can such an absurd thought pass through my mind.

I woke up with a heavy head, my head hurt like shit. Groaning, I went to the bathroom and washed my face, making me feel a bit relaxed now.

I took a cool shower to wake my tired self and put on my pants and a random shirt. I went outside to the backyard with Liv and walked around the garden when I saw Nina.

"Hey!" She said, I passed a small smile.

"Hi!" I said back.

"Umm could I ask you a favour?" She asked as she hesitated and thought before saying.

"Sure, what is it? " I furrowed my brows thinking it was maybe something about Ryan .

"Actually nevermind, I dont wanna butt in " she mumbled the last part.

"No really what is it!" I yelled a little making her turn back towards me.

She looked down for a second and then at me. What the hell is the favour !!

"Uh Emily is just a little low today so if you can spend a little time with her." She said.

"Why is she feeling low, did something happen?"

"Sorry but that's her place to tell." She gave an apologetic smile and I nodded.

"Okay I'll come over for breakfast "I gave her a small smile and she nodded, going back inside. I did hear her yelling, "EMS ! STOP EATING ALL THE CHOCOLATES!"

"ITS DELICIOUS!" I heard Emily yell back.

I chuckled as I grabbed my phone and went out my house and walked towards hers.

I rang the bell and Nina opened it. "Thank god your her, first could you take away that bucket of chocolates from her please ?" She requested making me laugh as I nodded and entered inside.

All my smile were gone when I saw Emily sitting on the sofa, she was eating chocolates but it would have been a funny sight if she didn't have red puffy eyes. She was crying.

I walked towards her as she still hadn't noticed my presence, I Snatched the bucket from her making her instantly look at me. I say beside her and she just looked at my movements.

"Give it back Noah" she huffed.

"Let's go watch a movie?" I asked making her confused.

"Huh" she said absentmindedly.

"Let's go watch a movie, you, me, Nina, Matt, Kolen, Ryan and Jenna." She needed happiness right now and as far as I knew we were the people that she was genuinely happy with. Ok she ,ight be more annoyed by me than happy but hey who cares. She makes me happy with all the reactions she gives when she's annoyed and I know she like it.

She simple nodded and stood up, she quickly picked the bucket up and ran away in full speed laughing. She's still a kid. I never wanna see her all matured up and serious, she was better this way. She was happy.

Me and Nina laughed at her while she ran to her room, locking the doors. Soon I went to my house to get ready and tell all the guys about the plan.

I put on a black shirt and wore my shorts. I put on my shoes and sprayed some perfume on myself.

I went outside to my car only to see the girls already coming out of their house. "Are we taking your car?" Nina asked and I nodded.

I clicked on my car keys and the door unlocked, Ryan came as well and we sat in the car.

Emily sat beside me while Nina and Ryan sat behind. Mily was wearing a brown tank top along with ripped baggy jeans and a shirt on top. Her hair were tied in a rough ponytail so I could easily spot her rose tattoo behind her ear.

I started the car and drove to the cinemas. It's was 1pm right now and show began in twenty minutes so we decided to buy some popcorn and coke. The boys and Jenna soon arrived and we went to the theatre. We were watching an horror film - The Curse of the Nun - we all needed some heart attacks so it was a mutual decision.

I was at the corner, beside me was Emily, Jenna and Matt. On top of me were Paige at the corner, then Ryan and Kolen.

I'll admit the film was scary but it didn't scare me much, I was already guessing what was happen and then when it did, It didn't scare me. While Emily on the other hand was screaming really loud and by really loud I mean, making everyone deaf loud.

She was even louder than the movie itself. I just looked at her half the movie. She had my arms grabbed by both her hands, real tight. Whenever it was time for a scary scene, she would put her head behind my shoulder which was really amusing to me as I just drank my coke.

The movie was now over, the lights were now on and she was still holding my arms tight.

"Do you plan on leaving my arms?" I whispered in her ear, she suddenly flinched a little and instantly left my arm when she realised what I had asked her.

"S-Sorry" she mumbled.

I smirked at her and she looked away. We all got up and left the theatre. We went straight to Emily's house then.

"Let's order pizza ?" Emily asked while taking her phone out of her pant pocket.

"Ems, make your handmade pizza. Yours is far better." Nina said. Emily instantly nodded a no.

"It takes time Nina!" She whined.

"Who would like to have Emily's pizza?" Nina yelled, grabbing everyone's attention.

"All of us!" Matt yelled , continuing his talk with Jenna. They were really having a moment, I guess.

Emily whined like a baby, stomping in the kitchen. As Emily began to prepare the dough, Nina went upstairs to get a board game.

"Let's play Twister!" Nina exclaimed as she came down.

Everyone except Emily ran towards her while emily just rolled her eyes.  As everyone made their way to the living room, shifting the couches a little bit, I went over to Emily.

"What do you want?" She groaned.

"What happened to you yesterday?" I asked making her stop what she was doing.

"Um, my mom's lawyer called for something." She mumbled and continued her work. She turned over and went towards the sink to wash the vegetables.

"What the hell did he say that made you cry" I scoffed to which she again froze.

"How do you know I cried." She asked, shaking the vegetables to let's the water drop fall in the sink. She again walked to the kitchen island.

"I just know, now say. Why did you cry?" I asked making her turn towards me but grabbed her shoulders.

Her eyes widened for a moment, "I uhh just missed her that's it. The lawyer just told me that mom saved up some money for me." She said as she pulled back from my grip and continued her work. I observed her for a while and she wasn't even able to cut the vegetables properly.

"Just make the pizza base, I'll chop them." I groaned, slightly pushing her and taking the knife from her hand.

"I-" before she could say anything, I looked at her and she huffed and began making the pizza base.
