Bradley Beal and John Wall: From Friends to Sweethearts

Chapter 5

*Bradley Beal POV~ Playing basketball when pregnant~

Bradley Beal~ 5 months pregnant

Bradley Beal POV:

I am now five months pregnant and we are playing in the home court against the Boston Celtics. However, most of the Washington Wizards uniforms that I wore on the game don't fit me and my long sleeves were already tight. Yeah yeah, I should've not gotten pregnant in the first place but oh well because I am going to the game anyway so I can earn money for the baby. Plus, my boyfriend is on the team with me so it's not that big of a deal.

"My stupid uniform don't even fit me at all!" Bradley Beal complains about his Washington Wizards uniforms not fitting him at all. With the growing baby bump and his body changing a lot. "Babe, what's the matter now?" John Wall asked what was going on and why Bradley was complaining about the way that his Uniforms didn't fit. "John take a look at this. I look fat in this Washington Wizards gear," Bradley frowns. "I can't play like this!" "It's ok honey, you look great in that uniform," "Oh yeah, it's easier for you to say," Bradley protested at John's words. "I mean how can I get my old body back?" "Bradley I know that you're upset, but don't worry, when our baby is born, you will have your old body back," He told him. "You are beautiful no matter what and don't think about it too much," "I know and I'm sorry," He responded in his soft tone. "It's okay my love. We will get through this together,"

They were playing at the basketball court, but the head coach had advised to Bradley that he is going to stop playing for a while because it was bad for him and the baby. Bradley was bummed out but understood that he had to be on the bench. His boyfriend decided to play on the court as Bradley chose to watch him. At least, he could play for a moment before he returns to the bench. His teammates were like: Dude! Bradley Beal was the first NBA player to be pregnant while playing. I wouldn't be surprised if he was going to be in his third trimester.

Next, they were at the basketball court for the 1st and 2nd quarter and Bradley decided to help him out with everything. He knew in his heart that he will always be there for John Wall. Even on the halftime play, Bradley made a promise that he will be a mother to John's kids.

Bradley Beal: even when I hear about your father, I know you wanted to have a family on your own.

John Wall: I know.

Bradley Beal: and now it's time for you to be a father to my baby.

Before the game had started, Bradley apologized to John Wall for yelling and saying that he was insecure about his body because of the fact that his pregnancy was showing up and taking it to a whole new level. "First of all, I wanted to apologize for raising my voice like that, I didn't mean that to make a big deal," "Oh don't worry about it," John said laughing. "What's important is that we're together and that's all that matters. All I wanted to do was to be your boyfriend and a father to our unborn child that's all," "Thanks babe, you have no idea what it means for us to be together and having a family on our own,"

Later on,

They were at the pregame show where the fans came to Bradley and John letting them know that they will be attending the gender reveal even John and Bradley's family will be invited as well along with their teammates. However, it got to the point that it was hard for his boyfriend to go through the loss of a parent. Bradley was letting him know that he will always be with him for the rest of his life no matter how hard it was.

- 3 1/2 hours after the game -

Bradley and John were having dinner together at the restaurant. Somehow, Bradley was wondering if their baby was going to be a boy or a girl.

Bradley Beal: Babe?

John Wall: yes honey?

Bradley Beal: I was thinking: have you ever wondered if our baby was going to be a boy or a girl?

John Wall: not sure yet.

Bradley Beal: if our baby were to be a boy, our baby's name would be Brian and if it's a girl, we would have Bianca.

John Wall: I see.

Bradley Beal: or yet Joshua and also the girl would be Judith.

John Wall: Okay.

Bradley Beal: Man! That's hard for me to decide for the baby name because we don't know the gender yet 😂

John Wall: neither do I haha.

Bradley Beal's POV:

I know for a fact that I have been thinking of the baby names yet. Although, I'll have to wait whether my baby is going to be a boy or a girl. Besides, I've been keeping up with the doctor's appointments right before I went straight to the game and other activities. Although, today is my last game before I am going to be sidelined for the rest of the season because of my pregnancy, so my Physician had suggested me to sit out until the baby comes out.
