Song of the Chapter: How to Love by Lil Wayne

Skyla had been given the choice to find out the gender two months ago, but she refused. She wanted it to be a surprise, even if the surprise was only for her. She was currently six months pregnant, and her pregnancy was quite obvious now with her round belly. It was a bit impossible to cover up the round belly, but she didn't necessarily try either. She loved her baby, and she didn't want to hide it from the world that she was pregnant.

It had been four months since Dean had died, and the pain was still very present for Skyla. She missed him everyday, and she still hadn't gotten herself to pack away Dean's things. The two times she had tried, she had dissolved into tears and it took hours for her to calm down and stop crying. After the second time, she realized that she couldn't pack up his things without having an emotional breakdown.

Over the time that Dean had been gone, Skyla still tried to get in contact with Sam. Sam never answered any of her calls, and eventually he had disconnected the number. Skyla wad devastated when Sam completely ignored her and cut her out of his life. She thought they were closer than that, but apparently she was wrong. The only Winchester that really seemed to love her was gone, and the other one who claimed he loved her like a sister left her and never looked back.

Bobby had also tried to get into contact with Sam. He had managed to talk to him a couple of times in the beginning, but after a couple weeks, Sam stopped answering him. Bobby had informed Skyla about the calls though, and he told her that Sam was saying that he was looking for a way to bring Dean back. Skyla didn't completely believe him, considering he never tried to talk to Skyla to get information or ideas.

Sam didn't know that Skyla was pregnant. He didn't know that he was soon going to be an uncle. It was sad to Skyla, considering she believed her baby deserved to know Sam and get stories of Dean that Skyla may not have even known. It was something that would bother Skyla until she finally found Sam herself and told him everything that he had missed out on when he left.

"I'm going to take a nap. My back is a little sore right now." Skyla told Bobby, as she stood up from the couch.

"You want me to wake you up for lunch?" He asked, causing her to smile.

"As long as we're having grilled cheese." She replied, making him roll his eyes and shoo her off.

Skyla went up to her room, which now had a crib set up against the wall where a dresser use to sit. It was a dresser that she and Dean hadn't used, and it was too big for the baby. Bobby took the dresser out, and Skyla helped him set up the crib. They also bought two tall plastic sets of drawers. One set held diapers, wipes, creams, medicines, bibs, pacifiers, bottles, and teething toys. The other held baby clothes, and unsurprisingly the drawers were full. All the clothes were mostly unisex, but there was also some for girl and some for boy.

Skyla figured that even if she had a boy or a girl, the baby could still wear clothes that didn't match the gender. Her girl could wear blue, and if she had a boy, he could wear pink. There wasn't much girly or boyish clothes, most clothes were unisex. The clothes sizes went up to six months, before new clothes would have to be bought for the baby. Skyla didn't know what she was having, but she had a feeling it was a girl.

Anyhow, like she had told Bobby, she laid down in her bed and tried to get comfortable. Her belly sometimes got in the way of her comfort. It wasn't easy for her to sleep through the night, but she knew it would all be worth it once she had her baby. She was excited to meet the little one.

Barely ten minutes after she fell asleep, Skyla heard noises downstairs. She groaned when she realized that Bobby had most likely knocked something down, and accidentally woken her up. She snuggled into her pillows a little more to try and fall back to sleep. She wasn't able to fall asleep though, because there was another noise downstairs. She wouldn't have thought anything of it, until she heard what sounded like shouting.

She could hear two different voices, but they were muffled, and she couldn't quite tell if either voice was even Bobby. She carefully sat up in her bed, and reached to her bedside table to grab the weapon she had in the drawer of the table. She held the weapon tightly in her hand, as she stood up and made her way out of the bedroom. She quietly crept down the hall to see if she could see what was going on downstairs, without having to come down the creaky stairs.

When she didn't see anyone, she worried that she had been too late. When she heard another sound though, she knew that something was going on. She couldn't see anyone in plain sight, but she knew she needed to save Bobby if there was something wrong.

"Bobby?!" She exclaimed, and immediately the sounds stopped.

At first she believed that she had messed up, or possibly threw the intruder off guard, but then she seen Bobby come into view. Barely a moment later, a person followed behind him. Her eyes widened when she seen who the person was; Dean friggin' Winchester. He was standing behind Bobby, and Skyla didn't know how to feel. She began to feel lightheaded for a moment, but she held it together. She was sure that something wasn't right, but she didn't know what to do in this situation...
