Once upon a time, Shadow woke up with a plan to visit Samoko. On this Monday, Jennifer, Laura, Anthony, and Kent had to attend a two-day interrogation session at the newsroom. Shadow and Paul would join them later. Prioritizing, Shadow decided to save Evan once he and Paul arrived. After the rescue, they returned to brief the others about a mysterious thread displayed on the board.
"Has anyone encountered this image before?" Shadow inquired, presenting a choice of "Yes" or "No." He then elaborated on safety precautions and equipment. Participants were advised to wear sturdy mountain sandals instead of slippers, use flashlights (phone lights were deemed unsafe), and apply sunblock against the sun's heat.
On Tuesday, Shadow left work early to spend time with Jennifer and Laura. At 4:00 PM, Benjamin had a session with him until 5:30 PM. By 6:45 PM, he arranged transportation for his car to Earth via a spaceship, promising entertainment throughout the voyage.
On Wednesday and Thursday, all attended office duties as a team. For their Friday trip, Shadow secured the tickets. Later that evening, he headed to the ticket office located behind the central part of the spaceship.
Friday was a shorter workday. Everyone clocked out at 5:00 PM, gearing up for their 9:00 PM flight. Scheduled for 11:15 PM on September 15, 2023, Shadow mentioned, "The airport is conveniently near our new home."
During the flight, Shadow and Paul alternated in the cockpit, overseeing radar and piloting the jet. Tired, Jennifer and Laura slept together around 12:55 AM. Laura, waking at 2:50 AM, asked the steward for bread and a cold beverage. Commenting on their rapid pace, Shadow acknowledged the jet's speed as they touched down in Omriville at 3:30 AM, with Paul sharing his enthusiasm.
On reaching Omri Ville, Shadow took the lead. They navigated the lengthy airport corridor in search of the exit. After collecting their luggage within half an hour, he sent Paul to fetch bread. Expediently, an airport guard drove their vehicle. The crew's next stop was a hotel, where they booked accommodations for the night. Exhausted, Jennifer, Laura, and Shadow retired for the night.
