I didn't know what was going on, I couldn't move or speak, but every few seconds I could see rough blurry images of the surroundings. And most freakishly of all, I could hear the figure's voice speaking, but he wasn't talking to me, he was conversing with The Harbringers. "Well, well, well." I could hear Qasim speaking. "Look who decided to come out of his shell." "Shut up you mortal scum, my business isn't with you, it's with her." I could feel him pointing in Nad's direction. "Why must you continue playing this stupid game, Nadine." He said sternly, "Has this cycle not become boring to you? You form a low-life cult of psychos in hopes to achieve your dumb goals, I return with a new vessel, ruin your plans, and rinse and repeat.". "And what makes you think your vessel will listen this time; you have only become weaker with time, Ren,".

"Remind me again. Aren't you the same person who wants to abuse the powers granted to you by the Eldorians to rid this world of its inhabitants?" The figure whom I assume is named Ren, mockingly said. "The people of this planet have ravaged it and it can only heal with their riddance. Our plans have only just begun and not you nor your foolish vessel will stop us." Nad explained. "We are missing a rare artifact belonging to the Eldorians but it'll soon be ours." Doran said, "And after that we will be after you, incarnate." Kira added.

I was getting bored of listening in silence as questions kept piling up in my head, then I remember something Ren had mentioned, "I can summon you here.". I didn't know if this would work as I had no idea what powers Ren had but it was worth a try. I tried calling his name but then I remembered I couldn't speak so I resorted to a trick Liz had taught me long ago, Manifestation. If I thought hard enough about something it could become true. I kept repeating "Bring Ren here and wake up." in my head. Suddenly I heard a loud crash and I was back.

Everyone was looking towards the door behind me in offensive positions as if they were ready to fight. I turned around and saw Liz there. I instinctively ran towards her. "GRAB MY HAND!" Liz shouted. Suddenly an aura surrounds us and we're transported back outside. "What the hell just happened." I said. "You were taken over by your alter ego, Ren, who just so happens to be an incarnate. I used my manifestation to bring you back and to get us out of there, though now I'll be on cool down for a couple days." "Totally didn't think I was the one who woke myself up but whatever." I said obviously embarrassed. "Sorry I stood you up, I encountered Axel on the way and we had a not so fun discussion, and in the end he told me about how they were planning on capturing you, so I rushed here as fast as I could." Liz explained with a sorrowful look on her face. "No worries, I owe you one." I said, "So like wanna grab a coffee? I needa cool off after all that." I continued. "Sure, and I can explain the 6 elevated ones' powers and what the artifact they're after does once we're there." She smiled. "She's always had the prettiest smile." I thought to myself.

It was nearly 5 am by the time we were done with The Harbingers, I used my powers to get us there faster and surprisingly I got no zaps this time. The drinks hub was open 24/7 so we didn't have to worry about the time, though I'd have to text Enji that I'd be late that night. "What do you usually order here?" I asked Liz, "I just order an Americano, helps me focus.".

"The 6 elevated ones are the strongest, or rather most useful to Nad out of the whole cult. They have amassed over 3000 members up till now. They were hand-picked and trained by Nad for the sole purpose of achieving their goal. Qasim has mind control, what the setbacks or the limits of his powers are is unknown to me but his ability is extremely powerful. Doran has the ability to teleport himself or others at will, though I'd guess he could only teleport stuff he's touching or he has marked. Myia can make clones of herself to do her bidding, self-explanatory. Kira can read minds and has foresight to a certain point in the future. Axel can change the gravity around him covering a certain field of area. And lastly, Nadine, she is an immortal being who has roamed this planet since the age of the Eldorians, though she doesn't have any other supernatural abilities, her combat skills are beyond comprehension." Liz scoffed. "The Harbingers have been around ever since the Eldorians disappeared but I have no further knowledge than that." She sipped her coffee. "I guess I understand, but this all happened a bit too fast. I knew my life would change with these powers but I wouldn't have ever expected this.".

"Whatever happened to the rest of the group though? Simon, Wem, and Max?" I asked. "When I sent the message on the groupchat, only Wem reached out to me. We haven't talked in a while though. Simon was imprisoned after being caught using his powers in public. As for Max, he might as well be dead, no one knows what happened to him." She took another sip, "Well that's too bad I guess. I think I should head back home, Enji hasn't opened my texts and I don't want to worry him, it was nice seeing you." I was drained. "See you later, Paige." She giggled. Never thought I'd get butterflies from her again.

After all that I headed back home and got some well-earned rest. Enji was hungover from the night before, he was trying explain his new inventions but he was half asleep murmuring so I couldn't understand him. I kept thinking about the Eldorians The Harbingers mentioned but I left it aside for later. On the topic of The Harbingers, some "superheroes" the government hired have been picking off a little of their members, not a concerning amount though. It's just a cover-up for the fact world leaders are powerless against these people at the moment.

The next day I decided to start training on using my powers in combat, as I would've been powerless against the elevated 6 if it wasn't for Liz. Enji advised me to start with increasing my power as I'm speeding up, sort of like a bullet. I was doing all this on the roof of our building since it was more spacious. It was going well until I slipped off and something awakened in me and.. *ZAP* I caught onto a ledge. I had just zapped onto a wall up to the ledge. The spot where I had zapped on to had a huge hole as if a boulder was jammed into it. I found this to be enough progress for now, all I'd have to do now is hone this skill. If only I knew how I did it though...

Enji gave me an electronic wristband that'd track my movements for the next time I do it. I don't know what I'd do without him.
