Their faces said it all: I'm going to die tonight.
Ty looked frustrated and angry, and Naomi looked like she was fearing for her life. Either the both of them was sorry that I was going to die or was going to kill me. No luck here.
When I first stopped the car a thought came to mind, What did Naomi do after she ran into the forest? I had a feeling she did something horrible.
Titan walked to the drivers window with his hands in fists. He always did that with his hands whenever he was angry, ever since he was little. He always looked cute when he did that, but I always underestimated him.
He stopped right in front of the window, and knocked three times. His hands were shaking.
I rolled the window down just an inch, and smiled guiltily. He barked so loud that I covered my ears. Leaving a hand on my right ear, I rolled down the window all the way.
"WHAT WERE YOU THINKING?! I AGREE FOR THE BOTH OF YOU TO LEAVE, AND THIS HAPPENS!" he howls.
"I can explain-"
"YOU HAVE NOTHING TO EXPLAIN ABOUT, DAMMIT! WE'RE GOING TO PACK HOUSE!"
I winced so much from him yelling, I just stayed in that position; my eyes were probably the size of Ping-Pong balls.
Then I heard a door open.
Titan barked, "Naomi, get in the car!"
He seemed to be calming down. He was way better at that than Naomi, that's for sure!
I sat up straight again, and watched Naomi sit in the passenger seat. Titan chose the back row seat behind Naomi, probably to prevent himself from strangling me.
When Naomi closed the car door, I pushed the stick shift down to drive, then stepped on the gas. It was dark outside; the trees didn't look green and happy, they looked dark and mystical. I loved the night.
When I saw the pack houses' lights, I took a deep breath. This was going to be a nightmare.
"When you pull up to the drive-way, get out. The both of you. I'll take care of the car." Titan demanded.
I nodded, and stopped the car in the middle of the driveway. When I stepped out of the car, I noticed someone standing on the sidewalk. I left the car and walked to the figure. I knew exactly who it was.
"Hello, Alpha," I say with my head down. I stopped right in front of him.
"August, I have known you ever since you were born," he said powerfully.
I nod.
"I've known your parents, your siblings, and your friends," he continued.
"Yeah..."
"I know you had a tough time when you in school and other packs. You haven't found your wolf yet. You make mistakes."
I look up to his eyes.
"What just happened wasn't a mistake. Naomi did something when you were gone; she found Tobuscus and threatened to kill him. She left deep wounds on him. I suppose they had a tense relationship, but what she did wasn't your fault. She'll be punished, I haven't decided her punishment, but it won't be easy for her."
I stare at Alpha with disbelief, Naomi really did that? She tried to kill Taby-Cat just because he drove her car? My sister is always hard to read, I could never understand why she did things. But now, I do understand why she does them: she does them for a purpose. For a miracle.
