"Alpha." A sing-songy voice calls at my office door, accompanied by a short knock

I stifle a groan before calling for her to come in. Wooyoung pushes the door open, stepping in and shutting it behind her, not waiting for an invitation before she sits in one of the chairs in front of me.

"What can I do for you Wooyoung?" I ask the woman politely.

I'm all for the pack being happy for Yoongi and I and not rejecting him. However, I can only tolerate so much at the moment, as Yoongi and Chanyeol sniffed out more potential problems this morning that Yoongi is currently informing his brother about, while Chanyeol does the same with the council.

"I know you aren't ready to plan a mating ceremony yet, and I know you know about the bonfire tomorrow night." She pauses and I nod for her to continue "But, myself and the fellow elder mates, would like for you and Yoongi to wear the traditional colors, everything is official aside from a ceremony so it's only appropriate that you wear the colors of a newly mated couple at your first pack gathering." Because of Yoongi needing to visit his family and with Jimin being home, the bonfire got moved to tomorrow instead of today.

I nod "I can agree to that and will make sure we do. And I will let you know when we are ready to plan something."

"Good, everyone is happy for you Chaeyeon, even if he's a Min." She gets up from her seat, ready to leave.

I nod once "Thank you."

Wooyoung heads for the door, opening the door and stepping out, nodding at Hyunwoo who was headed in. I raise my eyebrow at the barely older wolf, a silent question since I wasn't expecting him.

"Everyone is fine, just wanted to let you know that a wolf from each pack is coming to scent the trail that the vamp left. And Namjoon suggested that maybe we talk to the coven we have a working relationship with to see if they know why we are having more issues."

"I will reach out to Matthew and see what they know." I glance at my computer but Hyunwoo doesn't leave "Something else?"

"I went with Chanyeol to the meeting." Hyunwoo starts

I nod "I know. Did something happen?" The question is a little rhetorical because I can smell that he is blocking off his scent, trying to hide it from me.

"Um, Jung Hoseok had a cousin with him who is really good at tracking." He pauses again and I stay silent, waiting for him to continue. "She's um, my fated mate."

I nod, a smile making its way onto my face "Did she accept?"

"Not really. She wants to get to know me before she fully accepts. She hasn't rejected me either. Our packs have a good relationship."

"Well congratulations. I hope she officially accepts. I also hope that she is a little firecracker because you need someone like that." Hyunwoo's ears turn red in a blush "What's her name?"

"Kang Jihyun."

I recognize the name and my excited smile turns into a knowing one, she is a personality "Oh I've heard about her."

Hyunwoo's eyes widen "That makes me nervous."

I shrug "She'll be good for you Woo. I have no objections as your pack alpha if you want to pursue a bond with her."

"Thank you Chaeyeon." Hyunwoo bows his head.

I nod and wave him off, a silent dismissal. He leaves and I'm able to go over a little more of the paperwork I asked Jimin's assistant to send to me this morning before my meeting with him. Jimin and my uncle arrive in my office sometime after lunch, closer to dinner time, which I'm sure is my mother's doing. We go over everything I was able to review and I ask questions about things I am not that knowledgeable on so that I understand them better. I'm not concerned about anything, I just like to know what is going on with our businesses.
