My theory (with a bit of a story)

"Could tell anybody our new students how long it has been since Hogwarts was founded and who were the founders?" asked Professor Dumbledore. He was asking everyone in the great hall but I had this feeling that he meant me. Maybe because he was staring at me but okay.

"Easy question. Hogwarts was founded exact 1323 years ago on the 4th July." Everyone looked at me. "How does she know everything. That her head isn't exploding with all this information" I heared Ron whisper to Harry. I wanted to say something but was interupted. "Miss Granger, how do you know it that exactly? As far as I know no one knows the exact date" asked Professor McGonagall. Oops, I messed up.

I felt the entire hall staring at me, but I only looked at Dumbledore. And even though I couldn't see it I knew that his eyes were twinkling. "We are waiting" said a Ravenclaw obviously interested how I knew that and they didn't. Well what was I gonna say.

I looked again to our headmaster hoping he would understand my silent question. He nodded his head wich meant I should tell them. Oh Merlin, this was going to be complicated.

I slowly breathed out and then in. "Okay I guess you are all wondering how I know when exactly Hogwarts was founded. Well it's not easy to explain so there'll be much confusion and if you don't understand everything it's not because you're dumb, it's because it's hard to understand."

I looked around and heared some people scoff.

"So you may all know that wizards and witches live longer than muggles." I was interrupted by an Slytherin, "why is that important? Just come to the point." "Wait and see" Dumbledore told the girl.

"Well as I was saying we become older than normal muggles and that is because when we walk through the wall to come to the hogwarts express we're actually going into another world. Well not really. It's like in between the two worlds. In between the earth and Narnia.

"Narnia is a world there excist much more creatures than on earth. And because we're in between the worlds we have magic creatures here too, not the same but we have some. The animals in Narnia, they can talk. There are also creatures like minotaurs or centaurs and fauns. And we do have magical creatures here too but not all are the same. And our animals can't speak but are loyal like a friend.

"And here comes the important point. The time. In Narnia the time goes kinda faster. There were the four kings and queens of old, the pevensie siblings. They came to Narnia at the age of 8, 10, 12 and 13 and they left Narnia at the age of 23, 25, 27 and 28 nevertheless when they were back in their world it was like not even a minute has passed.

"And they came back a second time. A year went by in their world but as they were in Narnia they were informed that they've been gone for 1300 years. Exactly when I was in Narnia."

Some gasps were heared. "How I came there? Well I'm not sure. I was just in the library when suddenly everything dissapeared and I was in another world. I was taken there to help them fight off some people.

"So then I, of course, was talking with the Pevensie siblings and as they heared that I was a witch attending hogwarts they were suprised. Because they founded hogwarts. They told me everything about how and when they founded hogwarts after they defeated the white witch.

"You must know they were blessed by aslan, the true king of Narnia who could be compared to a god, well exept he is a lion but that doesn't matter right now. And the blessing was kinda unexpected because they just defeated a witch and then got the blessing of witchcraft. I think they said something about aslan saying that they are going the be good witches and wizards and will found a school for their descandents and other witches and wizards as there were of course more like the white witch but less evil.

"So they founded hogwarts but not with their actual names. They gave themselves other names. High King Peter Pevensie the Magnificent, the oldest, was Godric Gryffindor. High Queen Susan Pevensie the Gentle who was a year younger than her brother, was Rowena Ravenclaw. King Edmund Pevensie the Just, the second youngest of them, was Salazar Slytherin and last but not least Queen Lucy Pevensie the valiant who was the youngest, was Helga Hufflepuff.

"Well so it was kinda like in our world, the earth, Hogwarts was founded two years ago and in Narnia Hogwarts was founded 1323 years ago. And as we are in between those worlds it is kinda confusing as to when Hogwarts was founded. Like three years ago there was no Hogwarts on the earth but in Narnia there was. Witches and Wizards went to Narnia to go to Hogwarts and well we do as well kinda. And on earth I'm sure the Pevensies still live. Like we can actually meet the four founders of Hogwarts! Isn't that exciting! Well I already met them but you didn't.

"Do back to the story. Aslan then one day decided that we wont be going to Narnia but to a place in between. Like we get older when we are at Hogwarts but it doesn't affect us that much. It's like getting older on the outside but staying young on the inside. We age slower at Hogwarts."

Silence. Well of course. It was hard to take all in. Then suddenly the hall burst out into laugher. "As if we would belive you!" "Freak!" "Stupid Mudblood!" "Liar!"

"Silence!" Dumbledore roared. "She is right! Belive her or at least belive me. I could try and contact the pevensies so that they can come and maybe with my old friend aslan but no hate in this school."

"And what about their heirs?" "Well they obviously got kids when they were at Narnia for the first time." "And why did Salazar or 'Edmund' made the chamber of secrets?" "Because he was at first evil you know? He helped the white witch. But when she was defeated she didn't stop using him. She came into his dreams saying that those who are not pure are not as good as the ones with pure blood. After a while he created the chamber and everything you know. But I think now he isn't under the spell from the white witch anymore."

"Okay that was enough for one day. We begin with the meal now!" Dumbledore announced.
